  1. True. But for the toy itself, besides the actual tail fin that opens and closes, I rather prefer them to put extra tail fins. One for Valkyrie mode. And an open one for Gerwalk and Battroid mode. You know, like what they did on their Unicorn Gundam releases. Just to keep the actual aesthetics of it.
  2. Hahaha! Well, just so you know, I'm still in the market for an extra Exia/Repair3 and the Exia Repair. As for the Double O Raiser set, no. For the price it's going nowadays, it's too much for me. And that being said, for that price, I can managed on getting 2 Seven Swords and the 0Raiser. This is the first time I bought any Gundam-related figures after 2012. And mostly are Robot Damashii. I haven't seen any UC era suits for Metal Builds. And if they do, I will stay away after I finished getting Setsuna's suits sans the exclusives. Thanks for the Perceval tip. I'll try to do that over the weekend. Ouch. Not a big fan of the Unicorn and Sinanju, eh?
  3. Ok. Here's a question. How bad you really need both Valks? And in what condition? Are you going on the brand new / mint in sealed box type of thing? Or a used one is not an issue at all? Regarding how the market behaves for Arcadia toys, it's really hard to tell. But assuming that price will go up is always the right way to go. But so far, here's what I noticed between Arcadia and Bandai. For Bandai DX, if you didn't made it on the preorder night, you'll end up paying more once it showed up thru auction and second hand markets. But for Arcadia, once it gets released, it's stay in retail price for a good couple of months. Now, if you don't mind owning a used DX VF-25F, you can browse Yahoo Japan Auction, Jungle, Mandarake, or eBay. Or you can just simply pm Spanner since he's selling one in the For Sale thread for $160 shipped. That's below your estimated $275-300. Imagine, you will save $140 by buying the used one and all you need to add is $100 more so you can buy the VF-1S brand new. Edit: ^ And they already mentioned it while I'm composing this novel.
  4. Thanks Spanner. This is an option part for Metal Build Avalanche Exia.
  5. Can't help staring at those photos. Preordered 2 at HLJ. In case I change my mind I can cancel one... hassle-free. It's true that I can switch heads on my VF-0. But remember VF-0D is blue and has a wing cape. And that's what makes it cool.

    Bandai DX VF-31

So my friend replied. Shukenzero is correct too. It was the Hobby Japan Nov Issue.

    Bandai DX VF-31

Well, the only good thing that came out of this Valk for saving our pockets is that it only has 'one' pack for the whole duration of the series.
  8. Really? If that were true, then I salute you.

    Bandai DX VF-31

For sure. And by 'getting used to it', you mean that you'll end up getting 3 sets for 3 modes, right?
  10. Hahaha! You know what's better than Photoshop in real life? 'Undo'.
  11. Ha! I see what you did there.
  12. I don't think the Gunpod's grip is resting properly on the Valk's hand just by basing it on that angle. More like, slipping in the trigger finger in the hole, and let the back part rests by the chest area. And don't move him until your next display pose. To be honest, the more I see photos esp new ones, the more I want to get 2 sets rather than one. If only there's a way this one fits to the VF-0D without doing too much custom.

    Bandai DX VF-31

I'm not sure. Probably one of those monthly hobby magazines. I'll ask him. Actually he's a member here. vic01. But not active recently. He's more into Gundams.
  14. ^ I agree. And even though Bandai's YF-30 and VF-19 Advance have a matte finish to it, it's still doesn't have the same feel like Yamato/Arcadia. I'm not into arguing on what looks better or not. But for me, the overall feel to it, Yamato/Arcadia still looks premium as is. And they easy to transform. I recently bought a Metal Build Exia, and I have to say the overall look, looks awesome. Paint and tampos, they all look crisp and clean. Even the plastic looks nice too. It feels like it's using a different plastic than their DX Valk line. And I wonder sometimes, if only the DX line is somehow more in-line on how the Metal Build quality looks, it would have been perfect for me. Anyways, back to topic. This Arcadia Roy VF-1S is superb.
  15. Time will tell, guys. Time will tell.
  16. I don't mind a blow up version of Megahouse TV SDF-1. Even if it's a parts-former one. Yes, they are.
  17. This would be nice if you have a glass-top coffee table. Would love to have a set or two for my 1/60 and DX Valks.

    Bandai DX VF-31

Millia or Mirage, it doesn't matter this time. But I really need that kind of color on the VF-31's. And that's the only reason why I would buy Mirage's. Hehehe. I'm hoping it's Messer's. So that his death have more meaning. Macross Delta series ended up when Messer died. Ain't that the truth.
  19. I've found an old thread about this 20th Anniversary YF-19. Hope that helps. http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=9654&hl=doyusha Edit: I forgot about master JVM's Doyusha collections. Thank you sir!
  20. Wow! We're branching out, Spanner. These kind of spending happen to us when there's no new 1/60 scaled Valks to conquer. Mine is the Metal Build Setsuna Suits. Good for those who collect HMR's, they still have their Macross fix. You plan on weathering that?
