Your most recent Macross or toy purchase! General thread.

Wait. They don't come with display stands? Thanks anubis! Will consider. -
Question to members who've seen this personally on display. I know this is non-scale, but can you say if the size is somehow close to the VF-2SS in Fighter mode which is also displayed beside it? Here's an edited merged photo of the two. I just base it on the placard height posted at the back just to get a rough estimate.

Nice! Let me know how's the quality of the Metal Composite compared to Metal Build. I'm kinda eyeing the RX-78 The Origins. -
Sad to say, signatures is not visible on mobile. Sorry, Spanner.

Apparently it's called Kanzen Henkei part. I just used '1/60' on the search bar. Or if you bookmarked VF5SS's page, then it's all good. http://www.shapeways.com/product/DV3KRQCTN/kanzen-henkei-1-60-scale-fighter-variable-hinge?optionId=3675956

I added the ebay link for you since there's no available Macross helmet on their website.

I just noticed this now. I didn't know that the yellow micro-bot can be attached on the shoulder armor. Cool. -
^ But they're one year late 'from the Future'.

Thanks Spanner! As a definitive non-model/kit Gundam figure? Yes. Is there a lot of metal compared to Hi-Metal namesake? Yes. Majority of the joints and the chests of what I have. Can't say about the other Gundam types. The minor gripe I have is that one or two of what I have the waist swivel joint is a little bit loose. Not super loose. It's more on the loose side compared to the other joints. But yeah, check reviews first before diving on this line. It's what I did first since I'm already late in this game. But like I said before, I'm not completing the whole MB line. Just selected few. And right now, it's mostly Setsuna's Suits. -
One of the other reason I believe, is that when you use the stock adapters from the Yamato figure and attached it to Yeti stand via his YA standing adapters, it's blocking the Gunpod's nozzle clearance. Hence, his option adapter. Following photos I've found online that's using the original adapters. Credits to the owners. Maybe this is just Bandai's way of 'testing the waters' for the VF-2SS. I will not say zero because nothing is set in stone. So there's still hope for another 1/60 scale for VF-2SS.

Hahaha! Instead, Delta made me rewatch SDFM all over again.

^ Ok. I'm selling mine. Different white. I thought only Arcadia has problems with colors. -

Oooh. I love her now. JVM, you're right. This is one of the best Superhero theme alongside John Williams' Superman theme and Danny Elfman's Batman theme.- 233 replies

You're welcome sir. And about the other, I have to ask someone. Hehehe. Not an expert on Nihonggo but I understand and read easy ones. And I need to find clips over YouTube just to hear that computer voice and if I heard it right. At first I only heard 'Kanchou buriji auto' so I assumed the other one is 'in'. And I browsed around and found a clip with Max coming in so I heard it right, it's 'in'. So basically, here's what they're saying in katakana with Kanchou -- '艦長 ブリッジ イン' for 'in' and '艦長 ブリッジ アウト' for out. But like you said it's amusing since now when you read the 'out', it felt like they're saying a funny accent of 'auto'-mobile. Same thing in the Philippines. Most people say 'Epol' rather than 'Apol' for Apple.

Cool purchases everyone! Btw, these two arrived today from Jungle. Opened Metal Build Exia Repair and my second Sealed Metal Build Exia/Repair III. Both were on sale. -
In Japanese Romaji it's 'Kanchou buriji in.' and 'Kanchou buriji auto.' Unless you're asking what's the correct term for that in Japanese military/naval use?
