If 'Seijin No Hi' is a national holiday in Japan, which I think it is, then they're close.

Your most recent Macross or toy purchase! General thread.

Hey! Take that back! It's not even considered as a 'purchase'. It's just an 'unpaid' preorder. Take it back! Hahaha! "Never rub another man's rhubarb." -
That's because they're close during the weekends.

Oooh. That is nice as well. Is this released or in still preorder? But... I rather have '0O0' on the green clear sensors rather than 'Turris Babel'. Hehehe.

But you have to admit the original Destroid Monster looks even better without the Sheryl Itasha marking. Congrats by the way. -
Planning on getting a fourth, eh?

Hahaha! Well, atleast now I know I'm not the only one here. And same here too, I'm much more leaning towards 'real' mechas. But speaking of Voltes V and Daimos, I'm still contemplating whether if I should buy a Chogokin version of those since it's part of my childhood too. But the thing is, once I started getting those, then ofcourse in the back of my mind, I will tell myself, I like Mazinger Z too. I like Danguard Ace too. I like Grandizer too. Next thing we know, I'm spending too much now. Hahaha! Sorry to hear that, Mr. Cheng. I also have friends and neighbors who have Takatokus and diecast robots back then. And they nice to let me borrow it overnight and make sure that I will return it the following day. Yup, back in the day was so hard. I always remember this one incident that I cried all day coz I wanted a Sword of Omens. You know, the one that lights up. But I didn't get it. And my parents always explain to us everyday that we can't just spend money to things that are not important. And she always say that money doesn't grow on trees. Always remember that you have to work hard to be able to get money. That's why the moment I finished school and got work, I started buying toys that I really really like. But I envy you somehow because you had a friend who entrusted you all his collections. It's sad but it's nice that he's nice to you.

I'm not a big fan of blue Valks, Darotower, but that Max collection looks lovely.

Snapshots from the video and things worth noticing: ^ Instead of 00Q markings, it's 0O0. ^ Comparisons between Master Grade and MoShow's. ^ Different Celestial Being markings on MoShow's. ^ Interesting FILTSAILEBING marking. ^ Look Bandai! No need for clear support arm. ^ Nice details ^ He tried to shake it and the top part fell off. Looks like the metal connector are kinda short and shallow. Have to be careful in this section. ^ Same thing with the Saber Sword backpack. For some reasons the connectors are kinda short. But it does look like it locks somehow.

That something is -- I was deprived. Hahaha! Kidding aside, life back then is really different. And my parents can't just buy toys all the time. But I did however have a mix of model kits from Gundams, Macross, L-Gaims, Orguss, Mospeada, etc. And I always get a lot during my birthdays. So technically, we can't afford getting a Takatoku toys or any diecast ones. So they just let me buy model kits. And this mostly happened back when we live in Japan for two years. And once we return to the Philippines, we can't afford getting stuff like we used to in Japan. So basically even model kits we can't afford it. But now like what you said, we were blessed on having good income just enough to support this hobby.

超時空要塞マクロス ~サイドストーリー~ Chōjikū Yōsai Makurosu ~Saido Sutori~ It has a nice ring into it. Don't you agree JVM?

And extra one to hold two Zentraedis on both arms. I have a feeling sh9000 will do the one on the bottom right.

That's 15cm, right? How come on the Tamashii site it only says 14cm which is equivalent to 5.5in. -

Model kits is really not meant for playing. And most of them you need to add some putty or brass rods on areas to make it sturdy.

Here's one from Gundam Model Center. But I went with his eBay route so I can have a PayPal Purchase Protection and eBay Money Back Gurantee. Same seller. I forgot who's the other member who bought it from this site. Please raise your hand. Ditto. And if ever they do it a MB Sazabi ver.Ka as well. Don't you agree?

Actually it was bubble wrapped. But it's the kind of 'small' blue bubble wrap instead of the 'big' ones. And it's just in one layer, one sheet wrap. There's not enough clearance from the box. So basically, once the box got dented or wasn't handled properly, the package box inside will get affected by it. The reason why I was upset is that I've seen NY packed packages before and it was great even for small items. To think that I already bought 3-4 DX Valks from them already and every one of them was packed nicely. It just so happened that this time I was asked to extra Y800 from the initial shipping cost upon ordering which is already high compared when I bought the VF-19 Advance which IMHO the box was heavier than the VF-31J and they still didn't packed it carefully. Transformers Dinobots and 1/1 Perfect Grade Baby. What more do you want, right? Congrats! -
Usually what I've read here based on CDJapan and US Credit Cards is that your CC Company will call you and say that an international company is billing you for something. And then you authorize it then that's the only time the payment will be made. If, your CC Company didn't call you, I suggest you go ahead and call them and let them know that you purchase something abroad using that specific card. It wouldn't hurt to try. And email CDJapan and tell them that you're speaking with your CC Company. Unless, they ask you to pay PayPal then that's a different story since most of what I've read regarding members who paid with PayPal is that you're paying it now. Hope that helps.

Shoot! Now I'm tempted to get just the Destroids since I didn't get a chance of owning those back in the 80's. And when I mentioned the 80's... yes, I'm in my early 40's too. Let's leave it like that. Hahaha!

They're not? Are Gn-U Dou figures larger than 1/100 scale? Edit: Ok, I did check Jenius anymoon site and Macross Mecha Manual. Jenius posted the YF-21 as 15cm. M3 states YF-21 height is 15.5meters. So atleast it's relatively in the same scale (?).
