Understandable based on where you live. I just don't want to risk it for lower shipping method since it's an expensive toy were buying. Would love to save some shipping cost too...

Thanks for not removing the 'default' (white) one, Shawn. And thanks for all the hard work put on this forum. -
Both SDF-1 Premium Finish and Regular versions are now Order Stop at HLJ. Will keep my preorder there for now. I just checked and compared the price using the old Yamato weight info which is 1730g to get HLJ's EMS shipping cost via JapanPost site. I round it off to 2000g. More or less the difference is around Y2800+ from Nippon-Yasan. Assuming it's more than 2000g, the difference will be around Y3200+. Not bad I might say. The only consolation I will have is hassle-free cancellation and easy returns/exchange option.

It is. September's going to get hurt. But if it's going to included on those sale, that's going to be my second one. I bought my duplicates during sale.
-
I guess it's somehow 'normal' in a sense that it's not going to fit 100% easily. If you read the last few pages, some members already pointed it out that one of the pods is hard to put it in. I haven't receive mine yet so I can't tell. Will update once I got it.

You can't, actually. USPS will tell you to contact your seller since they're the ones who need to file the claim and not you (the buyer), since they're the ones who paid for the shipping. I have to tell you that it's really a long process and you really need to have long patience too. I mentioned here before that USPS lost my Figuarts Iron Man figure somewhere. They told me that since 2 months have passed since May delivery date, it might have be sent back to the seller or something. But up to now, Nippon-Yasan hasn't informed me if they received the package back yet. However, they already filed a claim for it thru JapanPost. And it's almost past 2 months since their claim filing. Those small Defender boxes looks cute. -
Agree. I wouldn't mind a 're-release' of DX VF-25's as long that it's 'Itasha' versions too.
-
I totally agree with this. I really don't want to buy this one after market price. I know the Arcadia PF price is too much, but it really beats out the after market prices it's going for nowadays with the regular release from Yamato. And that's not even Premium Finish. This is true too. It's why I'm keeping my PF order at HLJ. I know the price is more than what's NY have. But atleast, if I really need to cancel it in case of emergency, I can cancel it anytime, hassle-free. Same here. I'm just happy with 1/3000 since... ...I will probably just end up buying the old 1/3000 Takatoku SDF-1 TV Version. Which I wanted back then when it came out around early 80's.
-
I agree with this. And I do understand it even though my wallet doesn't. I really CAN'T afford anymore to GET everything that I want IF everything that's coming out new will HAVE that price as a starting point. Imagine how much it will cost to get it after market price. Lucky to those who's just starting out this hobby now since they will get newer products with updated designs and mechanism. Me? I'm just getting old. I'll take this as a sign for me to make sure what I buy now is what I really wanted -- if budget permits, that is.

Warner Bros. Animation's next DC film will be an adaptation of the 1989 one-shot Batman: Gotham by Gaslight, according to the back cover to the Batman and Harley Quinn home video release packaging solicited on Amazon. Written by Brian Augustyn and drawn by Mike Mignola, Batman: Gotham by Gaslight is arguably the first "Elseworlds" story done at DC Comics. Set in the late 1800s, Bruce Wayne/Batman goes up against Jack the Ripper. Augustyn wrote a sequel several years later titled Master of the Future with artist Eduardo Barreto. "In an age of mystery and superstition, how would the people of Gotham react to a weird creature of the night, a bat-garbed vigilante feared by the guilty and the innocent alike? The very first Elseworlds tale re-imagines the Dark Knight detective in Victorian times and pits him against the infamous murderer Jack the Ripper." Sets to come out 2018.

Nope. They didn't featured them with different plane besides their 262Ba. All of them are using the same plane, same color. The only difference from what I remember are the markings. The only variant is the white Draken for Roid.

Shoot! I forgot those. Hehehe. Thank you sir!

Thanks for the confirmation, sh9000! Yeah. The VE-1 from behind. But guess what? I might not get it anymore. You know how we are with accuracy, right? Not anime accurate IMHO. It's only shown for 3 seconds. Amd Yamato didn't get it right. Now Bandai's doing the same thing. Hmmm. And I do like your VT-1 set idea. To complete the set, they should include the fish too.

Looking for VOTOMS References in old Hobby Japans!!!

Thank you sir! All the while I thought DMZ-01 and DMZ-05 (Turbo Custom) share the same green tint. Anyone knows if DMZ-01 share the same green with the Lido War set, DMZ-06? Thanks!

Hahaha! You don't need to do that. I was just playing. But it's up to you ofcourse. Anyways, with that price point, let's all join hands and invest instead on the Sentinel's Ride Armors.

I'm thinking of getting one since it's grey colored Valk, it's a nice starting point for custom. I do wonder though if it's using the same size tail fins from previous VF-1 or new mold since the tail fins for this and the VT-1 are smaller than regular VF-1.

Ok. Just a reminder guys that the PF PO cut-off date is Sept 7. So if you haven't ordered one, you still have 5 days to go. 5 days since we're talking Japan Time here. For me though, I have 3 days to rethink if I should keep my order at HLJ for certain reasons...

Wow! I just realized that I complain sometimes when box corners have dings and bents when I received my package. But looking at this now, man. Anyways, IMHO, I really couldn't tell which service to blame. These packages are being handled by people and machines. So it's really hard to pinpoint who and what. Is it Japan Post? Is it USPS? Is it FedEx? Is it UPS? I mean, there's probably good people who works there that somehow respects these packages. And probably there's some people there who works just because it's work. And there's probably some people who just likes to throw packages all around the places. The lesson for me here is that as long that the content inside is in good condition, nothing broken, nothing missing, then I will let it pass. I'm not expecting for all my boxes to be in pristine condition. The moment I bought something online, I'm not expecting the boxes to be 100% good condition. But if it's the other way around then ofcourse I need to do everything just to have me compensated somehow. But yeah, it might take months for that to happen. And be on the phone most of the time listening to music while you're on-hold until you talk to certain people. It's nice if the person on the other line is nice to talk too. Unless ofcourse you have waited 40mins on-hold only to talk to the most rude person in the world -- which will bring out your worst out of you. Anyways, enough of my opinion. I do hope that all the packages inside are safe and complate. Edit: The reason why I selected these photos posted by Lolicon, I wonder if some of these happened during in-transit? Like the last photo, how do we know that they received it like that, right? What if the packages keeps throwing it out everywhere, and then they just slap the sticker there? That's why it's really hard to point out who's who to blame. Oh well... Good to know that you're safe and sound too, Lolicon. -
Probably it already hit the PO cut-off date.
