  1. I’m curious too on what shipping method he used.

    Bandai DX VF-31

    I paid Y23080 at Nippon-Yasan. Tamashii price is Y22680 (8% tax inclusive).

Now I wonder how that looks when the landing gears are deployed for landing.
  4. That’s most of our dilemma. So if you want some peace of mind, you buy it straight off. If you want to save and wait, you gamble.
  5. If this Ba ends up more of a low-vis scheme, I might bite so I can pair it with Kairos.
  6. Smileys works fine for me after I press the spacebar. I added a space on your post above so it's showing 2 smileys. I'm using Safari via iPad as of now.
  7. ^ Ofcourse. I’m just kidding on the ‘paperweight’ reference. Since most of the time our collections is just ‘sitting’ when it’s displayed and not doing anything.
  8. Why wait for Arcadia? When you can get a used Yamato set for $300+/-. I'm sure if Arcadia reissue those, prices will be doubled. And that's not even Premium Finish.
  9. Ok. Just to clarify. You don't want an expensive paperweight. But you wanted more quality and diecast content paperweight. Is that correct?

Hey B! TBH, I love this in fighter mode. So sleek looking. So sleek it felt like the lineart came to life. And it's better than the ET counterpart. Overall for me, this small guy might be wobbly sometimes when handling but it really beats all modes and wobbliness of the ET figure. I say, keep it for now. And if ever Bandai decides to make a DX figure in the future then sell it if you want to. If not, then you'll have a good and decent desktop figure.

That’s how I display him in Gerwalk mode with the arms extended.

Like what I posted on the Delta movie, for sure someone here is already trying their Lil Drakens on their Messer’s. Edit: I'm adding my question here that I posted in the Delta movie since it just got skipped and unanswered. Out of curiosity, this changes in Valkyrie’s setups, packs, and whatnot in a summarized movie. Is this more of a creative decision headed by Kawamori or sponsor decision by Bandai? If it’s the latter, is Kawamori being forced to do so? Feel forced to do so? I know he’s being paid and all probably under his contract and such and already did it in Frontier when he designed the Durandals for the movies. But creative direction-wise how does he feel overall? The reason why I'm asking is that he doesn't want to go back to old series just to redo some stuff nor continue certain stories forward (e.g. SDF). Would that mean if a company tried to pay him a big sum of money, is that the only time he might do it?

Thanks, but no thanks, Bandai. I’m just waiting for Arad’s and Chuck’s. That’s it. If they schedule this first which I’m sure they will, it’s fine by me. I will have a wallet breather.
  15. Try to use proxy for items that only restricted to local delivery (Japan address only). But for items that it can be delivered international, your US address is fine. Hope these helps.
  16. Well, let’s wait and see then.

    Ditto on this.
  18. Hey David, you’re missing the HD Remasters and Sora no Kira versions.
  19. Love the DX Draken. How I really wish Bandai will release the one for Elvis soon.

Even if there’s no ‘canon’ supers for Cavaliers, I’m sure it’s still not going to stop you for making a custom one, right? Btw, that’s a good Cavaliers custom figure.

Not 100% sure. But sometimes I notice one of their ‘graphics icon or buttons’ in the item page changes color. So I have a feeling they give ‘warning’ somehow that the item will stop getting preorders but no specific dates when. So my advice is for anyone who still having second thoughts and wait till past January, if you can squeeze it out from your budget, better preorder now before feeling sorry later. But then again, if you missed it, make sure you buy one after it gets released with a slight marked up price from NY. Think of it like you just need to pay your credit card purchase ‘interest’. And in the end, atleast you have a set copy.
  23. Metal Build GP03 Dendrobium... Hmmm.
  24. I gave up my HLJ PO to an officemate months ago since he's more into Combattler V than me. I'm more of a Voltes V and Daimos guy. As most Filipinos are. But seeing the new photos and video uploaded at Tamashii site, I'm jealous now. http://tamashii.jp/special/com_battler_v/ http://tamashii.jp/t_item/118/ http://tamashii.jp/t_item/119/
  25. To make it short, Metal Build Strike Freedom is 1/100 scaled and has a stylized redesigned look. While the Metal Damashii Strike Freedom is officially non-scaled but it’s close to 1/144 scale and more in-line with how it was shown in anime. Think of it like an upgrade version of the first release Strike Freedom figure under the Robot Damashii line. Here’s some links for photos via Tamashii site: Metal Build SF - http://sp.tamashii.jp/item/11062/ Metal Danashii SF - http://sp.tamashii.jp/item/12325/ Robot Damashii SF - http://sp.tamashii.jp/item/1313/ Anyways, hope this helps.
