  1. So it's safe to assume that the Anniversary schemes are all Tenjin and not a collaborated work with Kawamori?
  2. Wait. Starting over? So the previous release ones doesn't matter anymore? I mean, I'm sure he can just restart the whole thing and stop where he wanted and decide to restart again, right?

    Bandai DX VF-31

For some reasons, this custom reminds me the head of Dragonar. Looks cool btw.
  4. The problem with this coupon and promo for me is that everytime there is one, it's either I made a purchase 2 days or a day prior or there's nothing that I want to buy.

    Sweet.
  6. This is good to know. Also, IF I were to airbrush topcoat on the Valk that I did, what's the best one to use? I was thinking of using Micro Flat/Satin/Gloss since I already used the Micro Set and Sol on my Valks. Is that a good choice just to keep it consistent as brand wise and mixture wise? Or just use Future and mix it with Matte finish?
  7. Wait. You meant 'Thank you, Cobra Kai', right? The move you did Johnny's. So thank you, Cobra Kai. J/K.

  10. Yes. It will still be transformable as most members here who applied topcoat on it. Just transform it carefully.

Well, it's a custom kit bash so I'm not sure if that person needs to be acknowledge or get paid. Unless Big West bought the rights on that design from that person then yeah, it might have copyright issues. But don't quote me on that. I'm just guessing. It's just a custom kit-bash and it didn't get featured from any of the series, games, and movies. And no. The VF-1 doesn't transform with the armors on. Even with the official GBP one. You're welcome. Can't wait for the order details too. Hopefully it's not as much as $100 something. If it comes already pre-painted and with markings, I've give it a go.
  13. Not to instigate anything but there is already an existing thread for that where you guys can just continue that discussion.
  14. Yup. Stick is this March. I verified first on their website just to make sure before posting my post earlier.
  15. Just the two 'IRON' dudes for me. Hey Anubis. You think a Bruce Banner figure or bust will be included if they make the Hulkbuster MK2? No figure announcement yet. But yes, it was on the trailer for a mere second.
  16. #Notme Well, it really depends if Bandai will release individual Ba's tampo printed with corresponding pilot markings or release just one Ba with sticker sheet and leave the customer customize it. Now you being a collector, would you rather have a full squadron of stickers applied DX Valks knowing that your DX Delta squadron set have all tampo markings? Oh, and I'm pretty sure not all of them is going to be screen accurate -- looking at Siegfried's Grim Reaper and Knight emblem.
  17. ^ This. TBH, for me I really don't need to watch nor need to like a certain series to get a toy. Sometimes I just like a toy for what it has -- a cool design. Now, the only thing that really stops me from getting most what I want is the budget and space. I'm used to be a completionist before but somehow I managed to control that. Now I'm more into I want to have atleast a pair meaning if I bought a certain figure, it really needs something to balance it now. I'm not a big fan of one figure centerpiece. I always need something to balance the other one. Think of it like 'Ying/Yang' concept. Or the never ending battle of 'the good and the bad'. I'm sure you guys know what I mean. And just so you know, there's a lot of other things out there. It's not just Macross. It just so happen that franchise is not as big nor as famous as the other franchises for it to have a lot of figures and merchandises left and right. I'm pretty sure once this 35th Anniversary hype finished it will be slow for sure. But if you're really focusing only to Macross, then I guess you can start collecting other Macross stuff and not limit yourself to only the figures and planes. There's books, guides, DVDs, Blurays, Music CDs, Cards, Stationaries, etc. And even the Animation Cels. But if you're just for the figures and planes, only thing we can do is just wish and wait, wish and wait, and wish and wait. Anyways, just sharing my 2 cents and 10mins of my time composing this.

I'm impressed with their update. Might get one once it gets released. Thunder Hammer color is cool.
  19. Ok. So it's March so we're expecting Stick's ride end of this month, yes? It's just weeks away before the end of the month so hopefully we'll see something new. And by new, I meant cool info and photos and not another delay notice.
  20. Out of curiosity, does Iron Spider figure comes with iron legs?
  21. Well, I guess, you can probably try and resend it to them and do a cycle until your copy will not break. That's why it's good to have that 10-day window to open and inspect anything that's coming in from HLJ. And yeah, they do really have good support so I really don't mind the extra I pay for their item compared to other stores. I mean, I'm already spending lots of money on these collectibles so I have to make sure it's really worth it down the line.
