Your most recent Macross or toy purchase! General thread.

And it's not just that. Most of the guys here, me included, are married and with kids. So it's a question for me how can we sustain this craziness. -
Hmmm. Like a sunset Valkyrie silhouette on a carrier deck you mean? That would be awesome for sure from Saburo. Right, B? By the way, great photos, @Saburo!

Anyone else got a cancellation email from HLJ?

Next thing you know, SDF Macross and Macross Frontier toys will be your entryway to all Macross collectibles from here on now. As Agent Smith would say: -
Drinking and swooshing is prohibited.
-
Wow. Now I’m scared. Next thing we know we’re also going to tally this situation on who’s who got being axed on their PO. Hope it’s not that serious.
-
If HLJ will not cancel my PO, I’ll probably trade that with you.

Congrats on the sale. That means you can’t trade it now for my YF-19. As for your question. TWE items have limited numbers of production. Kind of like made to order situation or depends on what number Bandai produces. General release still have numbers but more than TWE. But due to recent emails that members getting, looks like Bandai’s limiting the number/qantity now as per HLJ claims.

Nobody is certain on what the said event is. All we know is just a part of the 35th Anniversary celebration. Beyond that most people doesn’t have a clue. And besides Bandai doesn’t reveal too much. So we just wait and see.
-
What time did you guys received that email? And what time you guys placed your orders if ever?
-
Sorry to hear that. What time did you received this email? And can you remember what time you put your preorder in? I know some members including me tried to order multiple times, twice for me, since we didn’t receive any confirmation email in the beginning. But after I got my emails and saw the duplicate orders in my account page, I immediately cancelled those. Maybe some haven’t removed it yet? I wonder. Is this the first time HLJ emailed something like this? Usually when it goes to Order Stop it meant the allocated numbers they have got filled up, correct? I wonder, why the email? If Bandai limits the number now, how about the other stores?

Thanks! This is awesome. It was Bandai’s DX Chogokin. PO opened early Friday morning.

You meant the DX Chogokin YF-19 and YF-21 'together' for the price of one Arcadia PF SDF-1, right? Just checking if I understand correctly.
-
You piqued my interest, sir.
-
Ooh. And here I am thinking of selling my other one.

Some people still wants it to be a little bit of anime-accurate. I guess, in this world, we can't have it all.
-
Sorry Shizuka. I just need to edit it for people who's not using the default theme esp for old guys like me who has trouble looking at it in white default theme.
-
Sad to say, the neck cover is still integrated on the shield. It's peeking on all the promo shot they have esp in Battroid mode. The shield still has that rail where the neck cover slides.

You're welcome @borgified. Like @Zx31 said, it's just a prototype. So there wasn't any metal featured on it yet. If ever there was, we don't know which part is metal. Besides, you don't expect there's going to be lots of metal in a 'Hi-Metal' toy, right?

It's not too late to go back, sir.

^ Yay! Oh look! The guy who made that have the same name as me. Hahaha! Kewl!

Ok. Just to end the 'controversy' created by that old pic. Here's the picture once again and @jenius photo from his GN-u Duo review of the YF-21 to compare. Though I want to know which 'connecting joints' you're referring to that it should be metal, @borgified? The only thing that's good here somehow is that Bandai has a working prototype back then. Meaning they already studied the YF-21 frame and I'm sure it will look great whether in HM-R or DX form. I don't collect most of the HMR but I will surely get HMR's of VF-4, YF-19, and YF-21. But I'm definitely going to get a DX YF-21.
