    Hahaha! Thanks everyone for being a sport. Yes, I have to agree that Bandai should release a set of this. And include a special display stand to have it display it this way. Anyone remember Bandai's HCM-Pro line? They made a special display stand for Exia and the rest of the 00 Gundam figures. Maybe they can made something like that for the HMR line if ever they decided to do the Angel Birds and Fan Racer. What you guys think?

    Don't worry. You're not alone on this. I started a year after Yamato folded so most Valks that I wanted, I panic buy. To the point I was trying to juggle my budget between getting some old Yamato and getting recent releases like Bandai's DX Frontier Valks. So yeah, my wallet cried a lot during my first 3-4 years into Macross re-collecting.

    He did mention DYRL so it's the red and black stripe. So it is indeed the first DYRL Hikaru VF-1S release. Have to admit, it is prone to breakage. I got mine back then from Jungle and it arrived with a cracked shoulder joint. Good thing it hasn't disintegrated yet.

    That's how it was on the space catapult. And since you noticed Makina's 31C on the left side, this whole scene, meaning the whole recoloring Hasegawa's doing is based on the 3D opening clip from Walküre's 3rd Live Concert 'Walküre Wa Uragiranai'. So it's safe to assume that Hasegawa's going to complete the whole cosplay motif for it.
