But you have to agree that it looks nice to have a set like that, right? Faithful in line art, good proportions, yet no need to transform to worry how the belly plates would close for those thick legs. All it needs is to have it in 1/60 scale, right?

Thank you sirs! I know I promised myself no more doubles but I couldn't pass up that good price. Now, what are the chances that Hikaru's 1A might come with Super Parts bundle since his 1A modex number is not in the recent SSP release? So I don't to order another SSP pack.

Hope they will also tackle Robotech: The Next Generation lead figures in their civilian clothes. So we can use it with our Sentinel bikes.

Their Aile Mecha Warrior is a superb figure. But the fig is so huge. I wish they will also consider making a proper Perfect Strike backpack to attach those Sword and Launcher Parts. I know it can be done on the existing Aile pack but my copy won't. Don't want to force nor risk trying it coz I might break it. And wish they would make Aegis as well. It's the other mecha that I will buy in that scale.

Based on the description, you can put it on the right shoulder area.

Sqidd, I think this set is for you. Too bad it's in 1/200 scale. I think Yamato really nailed the YF-21 in their 1/60 scale, GN-U Dou figure, and in their Variable Fighter Collection. If it comes with display stand like that, I don't mind owning 3 for each mode.

I received today Hikaru's VF-1S sold by AmiAmi thru Amazon US. The one posted by drobo last January 10.

Welcome to MacrossWorld! And congrats on your Focker Valkyrie. We do have various thread for it. And since you didn't include which Focker ride you have, I'm putting this various links.

The leg is super thin. Yamato did nailed it on their 1/60 figure.

There's a lot of different ways on how to paint a kit. I haven't really painted anything gunpla stuff for the last 10 years. But what I know is that it's easy to paint together stuff that you know that it's the same and pre-built in a way. A built HG kit needs to mask more areas than pre-built. Know what parts that's going to have a lot of contact so you can prep it ahead of time rather than scratch your head later on when paints gets chipped and rubbed due to a lot of parts contacts. Anyways, I goggled some and hopefully it can help you. Again, there's no correct or wrong way of doing it. It's always a trial and error. Enjoy and happy building! http://otakurevolution.com/content/laymans-gunpla-guide https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=gunpla+tutorial https://www.gunpla101.com/category/tutorials/ Or ask our Masters here in the Workshop section of the MWF. http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/forum/23-the-workshop/

Hachette Collection 1/24 VF-1S (subscription collectable)
no3Ljm replied to CF18's topic in Model kits
Here's the link for the full 100 issues at HLJ for preorder: https://www.hlj.com/search/go?ts=custom&w=Macross VF-1 Valkyrie Fighter Mode Diecast Gimmick Model I know the first 2 issues are cheaper than the rest. So basically it's around $1800+/- without the cost yet from bundle PW shipping. I know it really looks nice. And for sure for me this one will be a keeper if it's the Hikaru Strike Valk version. But at $1800, I'm really not sure if I can spend that much for a collection. -
I also haven't read the actual manga/novel of it. But my best guess is the practicality of how the shield is being utilized. So that when the RX-78 lifts it to cover his face, the shield window will be positioned as it’s supposed to, to cover his front section and face, with the 'eye slot' in front of his eyes so he can shoot the enemy mechs while at the same time covering most of his front sections. However, on figures and such, you can always mount the shield which ever way you want.

Thanks for the replies guys! Hahaha! Shoot! Now you know my secret, @seti88.

Yeah. I agree that it's the same comments over and over. But hey, it's what makes the DX YF-21 more exciting. Don't tell me that you're not excited about it for you to keep on coming back on the photos and check what you missed seeing the first time, right? Besides, atleast we're talking about the said item on their own thread rather than talk some other stuff over and over in the wrong thread. Hence, you have to provide the correct thread for that G.I.Joe stuff if you want to talk about it more, right? Or we can talk about the ThunderCats wave 2 figures too. Peace!

This time it’s Hikaru’s VF-1S for Y27000. https://order.mandarake.co.jp/order/detailPage/item?itemCode=1128247704

I want that skirt armor (belly covers) to be longer like Yamato's!

This is not HongLaJiao's Sinanju, right? What's the deal on this one and what company? I find the design too organic for my taste. Sometimes I don't understand these 3P companies and why do they need to make or flood the market of the same model only differently instead of doing a different model unit. Like do we really need to have 2 Kshatriya at that scale? Edit: I just found that the photo posted above are Conversion Kit for MG Sinanju. Sometimes it's nice to have info about it. Most members now are so used on checking this thread for any new 3P Metal Gundam stuff only to stumble a conversion kit. Anyways, here's the link for that Sinanju Conversion Kit: https://ggmara.blogspot.com/2020/01/mg_14.html Also, for those interested, there's an upcoming Conversion Kit for Strike Zeta: https://ggmara.blogspot.com/2020/01/topless-1100.html

Quick question guys. Not sure too if this has been discussed or asked before. I don't smoke but I recently acquire a figure that has a little bit of cigarette smell. It's not as bad but I just want to eliminate it somehow. I've checked online and most of the articles I've found are action figures. Which what they do is soak it in water and a little bit of soap for one. One is by putting it in a bag with cat litter (crystal one). One is by wrapping the figure with dryer sheet which basically the smell of it will transfer on the figure or something. Another example is they put the figures in a dishwasher. And other else. Now since we all know that we can't just put our transforming 'expensive' toys in a dishwasher, I was just thinking of putting it in a box and surround it (not onto the figure) with cat litter. And since the box and plastic tray that came with it have a cigarette smell too, I was just thinking of putting a sock filled with cat litter as well. Any experience or thoughts about this? Thanks.
