Yup. It's only VF-1J who gets to wear the GBP in the anime and movie. The rest are artworks from the model kits back in the 80's.

It was originally posted by @Kenzyuzou in the Mecha Fun Time thread. And I only reposted it here along with the link content from the Twitter post. There’s a fire broke out from Miyatake’s place. I’m not 100% sure if it’s Miyatake’s wife or Watanabe’s who died later in the hospital.

After 3:00 pm, there was a report in Sano-cho, Yokosuka City that the back house was on fire. Twelve pump cars and other vehicles rushed in and the fire was extinguished about two hours later, but the wooden one-story house was half-burnt. According to police, two couples lived in this house, and Tomoko Watanabe (60) was rescued and taken to the hospital, but her death was confirmed afterwards. Her 71-year-old husband escaped on her own, but she was taken to the hospital because she was smoking. The fire near the kitchen was fierce, so the police are investigating the cause of the fire in detail.

True. But atleast they can start with their DX Y/VF-19 specs. It's still not the Nothung, but I'm still going to give you points for the effort.

I'll just buy one that's for sure. I'm actually not asking them to fix it. I'm just kind of tired of the same design, that's all. Let's say I'm getting impatient to see a new design. I know I shouldn't compare Macross to Gundam or any other mecha anime that has different design every movie and series. Sure. But, is it transformable? And besides that's the VF-11 Nothung, not the VF-19 Nothung.

Right? Racing motif looks great as long that it's done in good taste. Bandai should also milk their Y/VF-19 mold for Nothung.
