Different (rectal) thermometer angle. Funny. If they're going to use the 'special' stand for this, it would be best if they just imprinted the pilot's name or the show logo. Not against with Walkure. I'm just pointing out the logical thing to put on the stand like what they did with the DX VF-1's.

I'm not sure if this is accurate but I do remember seeing an old 80's Super VF-1D artwork that has orange color on the booster section and the rest are still bluish green. Or the orange/khaki Supers are just Toynami's?

I think @cosmic is probably just confused on Bandai's unpredictable practice on the way they release their products and the guessing game we keep on playing regarding releases. And ending with spending more just because the latter releases have more gimmicks making the previous releases feel incomplete. It's actually everyone's dilemma on spending and collecting. And not to mention an endless loop of conversations we're in with old and new members.

Oh no. I'm just taking things in general. Agree that I'm also not 100% on how they do it too. But looking at their other line, say for example Metal Build Exia/Astraea/Red Astray, they keep on milking on them. And probably there's more demand on that one due to worldwide distribution. Whereas with Macross, even in that new agreement with the other company, it's still limited to Japan for its release. So production number is probably still low compared to Gundam. Anyways, we've been talking about this for years now. It's a sad reality we live in when it comes to Bandai. And our love/hate relationship with them. C'mon Bandai, release already Arad's and Chuck's Super Packs, Elvis Draken, and Kairos reissue.

It's not how bad Bandai is. That really depends on how much Bandai paid for rights or if they have a share on the said show. Since most animes are basically a commercial for toys. So if one company are going to spend for that, it's logical that they're going to produce a lot for a quick return. You can't produce a product one time and call it a day when you know that there's a demand to it. It's a typical business practice.
