  1. Probably it's just missing that Paul Dini touch, now that it's all Bruce Timm.
  2. I believe this is from Kazuhiko Hachiya. It's the same name on the watermark on the Facebook video. Which is also posted in the WIND PRINCESS (Nausicaa Tribute Film) thread.
  3. I didn't know GYMKATA nor watched it before in the 80's. Surprised to find out that our own Tetchie Agbayani was cast as the love interest. Hubba hubba. And that 80's MacGyver hair. Cool!
  4. Nice! Looking forward to it, @jenius! By the way, nice SDCC2024 specific coverage.
  5. This is not YF-21 centric concern but I'm just wondering how come other companies starts and/or relies on using magnets in their transforming toys to hold parts together but Bandai doesn't? Does magnet on toys worn out quickly hence Bandai is not using it on most of their toys? I'm pretty sure magnets can help on some of the YF-21 areas such as shoulder and backpack. I wonder why?

    BANDAI DX YF-19!!

They gave us helmet-less Isamu but no canopy shutters.
  7. Gorgeous.
  8. I like how it looks.
  9. Yes. I actually posted some of my fixes in the Maintenance Thread a decade ago. Man, didn't know it's been 10 years already. Looks like my fix didn't last. Yeah. I think all of these are inevitable. I thought my fix years ago will work out fine. I added those small cuts of silicone rubbers in there as well. Probably the placement of the rubber moved or just got loose overtime. It would be nice to revisit it and open those stuff again. But I'm sure both figures will probably need to rely on stands this time in or permanently display in Fighter mode. Anyways, do enjoy your collectibles while you're young.
  10. Pose+ Metal Heat Series GETTER 2 & GETTER 3 from HJWeb.
  11. Recent released Riobot L-Gaim review.
  12. After 7 years, I was able to take out both my VF-25F and VF-25S and 25F's Super and Armored Parts out of storage and box to inspect if 25F Valk have some yellowing. Glad there wasn't any. However both figures are floppy mess. Most joints are loose esp on the 25F. Won't stand on its own and 25F keeps on bending backwards. Super Parts leg armors won't snap on the locktabs and hold properly. Armored Booster keeps the wing hinge moving. Super's shoulder missile pylon joints feels brittle. And the 25S nosecone hinge have crack. I'll probably do some joints tightening in the future. Will all these issues at hand, would that warrant me to buy the Revival release? Probably not since what I'm doing now is sorting out and displaying my collection.
  13. Love it, @Lolicon.
  14. Thanks for the news. I didn't know about this.
  15. I watched this short transforming video of the ThreeZero VF-1J figure. Even though it's a 'copy' of the DX design, ThreeZero somehow upgraded the design on the rotating swivel bar and those locking mechanism on pulling out the legs and feet. Nice touch. I don't have one. But I did like their direction. Bandai should've done the same on their YF-21. Rework and refine what's available out there rather than over-engineer it.
  16. Maybe Arcadia will just do those occasional Anniversary schemes.
  17. ^ This. Well... and everything that you mentioned.
  18. Probably same QC team from the 80's.
  19. Out of business? I can still see Veef's shoulder hinge it on my browser. https://www.shapeways.com/product/DV3KRQCTN/kanzen-henkei-1-60-scale-fighter-variable-hinge?optionId=3675956
  20. @anubis20!!! Lucky you, my friend. I got a slight bent one.
  21. Hope we'll see some updates form them on their VF-5000G on the next WonderFest which is Winter 2024.
  22. I wonder how big is this going to be. Seeing that most Moderoid kits stands around 6in/16cm. Hope this one too. That way, we can display it along with the Sentinel ones while we're waiting for them to produce the classic ones down the line. Hope there's an update during SMILE FEST 2024 event in Osaka this weekend. Saw this photo online. Hope the figure can sit up properly on the bike.
