    I haven't check my copy again but what I'm thinking is if one side has a protrude plastic that works like a tab, then shave on the other side. If there's none, I guess just shave a little on both sides or one side, until you try and fit it. Just make sure you don't over-shave and be sorry later. Also I think they did remove the 2nd seat since the pilot seat was moved further away from the console than it was used to be from the previous model. And even if it did, I don't think the previous Freyja figure would fit in the tight space. As for the canopy, yes I love the one-piece glass thing. But we have to be extra careful due to the pointy end of it.

    Welcome back! Yes, US$250 shipped is reasonable enough nowadays for Hayate's VF-31J. Mandarake has copies ranging from Y16000-Y23000. Y16K is an open one where Y23K is unopened. However it's best that you grab the reissue one with the Fold Projection Unit instead of the first release.

    With all that being said, it's still Bandai's fault for not QC-ing their products properly.

    Same here. It looks like Bandai probably added more back-end stuff regarding their main P-Bandai site to be region locked. What I can suggest is 1) Try to delete all your browser cookies, technically kind of resetting it; 2) Use a VPN and select Japan so you can see the main site back again.

    So I decided opening my Hayate VF-31AX late last night after work due to @kajnrig's inquiry regarding the arm armor parts. After seeing the bottom portion of the Fighter, I am acknowledging everyone's feedback regarding the gaps underneath. Sad to say, they were all true. Mine came with those wing tabs not inserted to the legs. And I can see it that it's thicker like how @DeathByAzns pointed out from the previous page. This release is far inferior from the VF-31. For its origami-panel designs of the arm and its armors, I'm wondering how they're going to fare on the YF-21 in case that one goes into production?

    Congrats @borgified on your Trifecta haul! From time to time I've always been thinking of getting Gamlin's 22 due to its colors. And everytime I see one pops up over Mandarake, I always have second thoughts about it due to a fact that I accidentally broke my YF-21 thigh parts while transforming it. I'm just glad that I got to buy a spare leg part from YJA years later. And I don't want to happen that again thinking that there's no way I will be able to get a spare leg of it. Here's to hoping that Bandai's take on the YF-21 will have better sequence of folding the legs or have that thigh part somehow have thicker plastic than what Yamato had.

    Yes, it is based on the previous TV Armored Pack. As a naked Valk, it help makes the arm looks beefier this time around. I'm not sure if the arm armor is connected thru a hinge with metal pin. If not, you can probably pull it out from the hinge. (Not advisable if you're not sure if it's going to break.) However, if you're going to transform it back to Fighter mode, then you will have an expose arm joints. Since it's on the hinge, see if you can fold it more towards the arm so you can expose more of the thin arms. I would say yes. Because by pulling it upward, it exposes the wrist joints to help maneuver the hands folding it back to the wing. I think the answer to this, if you try to have it fix to the elbow is that those panels that covers the arm area will not line up properly not to mention exposed joints in Fighter mode is going to be obvious. But if those things will not bother you, then I think you can have it affix to the bicep with some modification. As for the forearm armor, you can't permanently put it in the 'down' position due to the wrist joints pertaining to Question #3.

    True. I know I'm annoyed about it esp on every Batman or Spider-Man movies. But I think it really needed emphasize so that they can justify why this person is doing it. I know I already enjoyed Tom Holland's Spider-Man movies as is, but at the back of my head, I always wanted to see a movie of his 'origin' story. I know it's probably going to be the same story, but with a different perspective or perhaps from some other people's point of view kind of retelling, that will be a welcome for me.

    Thanks for sharing that info! As for Taobao, I only know them like an eBay or some sort in China years ago. Good thing that they now selling exclusive items. Compared to the US, at this point only sells small shirt sizes and not 'Go Large' sizes which America is known. Just so you know I'm an Asian who became adapted on the American sizes. So I really need an exclusive Bandai shirts in US sizes. No offense guys. Hahaha! Cool. Glad that sorted out. Even Mandarake have it for Y8000. Not sure if the demand for this is super low. I only wonder if it would make a difference if this figure features the Core Splendor sequence and still maintains the torso articulation. Best chance is if you have a friend who lives in Japan. Or you can inquire how this lottery thing with Tenso or any Proxy online. Never hurts to ask.

    Quick question for those who have these. This is the first time I've seen this package. It says 'Special Limited Ver.' And it has the Tamashii Web logo. I checked Tamashii site but only one Metal Robot Damashii Strike Freedom is listed. Nothing that says Special Limited. Any difference? I have the regular package release below. Thanks.
