    Hey @sqidd. Yup, 6 separate Funnels as everyone pointed out for the original look. 12 if you want the Double Fin Funnels setup. You should probably hunt down the Londo Bell Engineers Option Part Set as well. Good luck on the purchase.

    Hey @sqidd. Which MS specifically? If it’s Nu-Gundam, in the anime movie, it carries 6 Fin Funnels. Hi-Nu on the other hand, different color scheme, was featured in the first Gunpla Builders series. It also carries 6 Fin Funnels.

    Thanks guys. Yeah, I realized down the line that it might help the other head designs that has antenna/lasers on the side of the head during transformation. True. And we always lashes things out towards Bandai. We keep on forgetting to blame the main guy. Yup. Still love that one and @Xigfrid's Strike Cannons.

    Welcome to MacrossWorld! As far as I can tell, there's no 'Valkyrie Factory' release of Kakizaki's VF-1A DYRL. And based on the last photo, that's the original Yamato 1/60 box for it. For more info on the Yamato/Arcadia 1/60 scaled VF-1's, you can check out @jenius Anymoon.com website. He covers all of Yamato/Arcadia 1/160 VF-1 releases.

    I would advice the same of getting both. But if money concern is one of the main factor for your decision making, I would go for the VF-1J/GBP combo. Out of the two, the VF-1J set has more probability to go up later on than Roy's TV VF-1S so it's best to get it now. So how about you get the VF-1J set for now, and get Roy's on your next salary? That might work, right? At least you already secured the set since you're leaning towards that one as per your post.

    They could've just used the same gold paint application from their previous MRD Akatsuki figure if they want it metallic. Or the @anubis20 gold paint application. Which I think looks better for a Hyaku-Shiki.
