Another upcoming Sheryl and Ranka figures announcement from Winter WonderFest. They sure can't get enough of these two, huh? Is this the one you're referring too, @kajnrig?

I looked again on Arcadia's prototype, and it looks like the vertical fin folds and sandwiched between the forearm section compared to the 3D print above. Yeah. It reminds me of Bandai's anime-magic on the YF-19. I'm curious too on how Arcadia is going to do this. Or they're just going to end up having separate pieces to cover the back of the legs again.

Ah! I'm curious what Valk did you bought? As for the arm, I think that's how it is. Here's the transformation line art:

True. But let's use official stats in Fighter form since there's no available stats for Battroid and Gerwalk mode for the VF-5000. Based on Macross Mecha Manual, the VF-19 Fighter length is 18.47 meters. The VF-5000 Fighter length is 14.03 meters. The VF-1 Fighter length is 14.23 meters. I'm guessing in Battroid mode, it will stand or close to VF-1 or VF-11. Screenshot from the video posted by @seti88.

I heard 'Ma-Cross' again. I'm getting confuse now. But this is a nice kit. Nice to see how it transform.

Nice. At 20.5cm, Hi-Nu is going to be the tallest Metal Build Gundam. Now how I wish they're going to do Nu too soon. It's going to tower every Metal Build Gundams.

That is also same as Yamato/Arcadia's 1/60. Like I mentioned above, Yamato's 1/48 has a big chance of snapping due to how the armor was made. Where the DX and the 1/60 is not, since the part is a bracket. So the tolerance are higher. Anyways, good luck.

They should've somehow displayed it with the Legioss in Armo-Soldier form.

Here's another one, @Mommar. The VF-5000B from Macross Plus game. I like this one more even though it's blue. From Macross Mecha Manual.

I like this and the 5000 to be released next year. Since everything is slow nowadays, I don't mind the wait. As long that it's a lock-in product ready to be produced, I'll wait till next year. More time to save.

When you say regular price, you meant at MSRP? If it is, then no. The only way of getting it at MSRP/regular price is wait for Arcadia to re-release it. But outside of that, be ready to pay more if you really want it. This is how much it goes for in YJA: https://auctions.yahoo.co.jp/search/search?va=1%2F60+VF-0D&exflg=1&b=1&n=50&auccat=&tab_ex=commerce&ei=utf-8&aq=-1&oq=&sc_i=&exflg=1&p=1%2F60+VF-0D+フェニックス+Premium+Finish&x=0&y=0

I don't have a Yamato 1/48 Valkyrie but seeing that the DX Arm armor is the same as how the Yamato/Arcadia 1/60 were built, the way of removing it is basically by wobbling one side, kind of un-snapping it. The tolerance of the DX and the Yamato/Arcadia 1/60 armor clips are higher than the previous 1/48 model due to the clips are a separate plastic part than the armor itself. It's kind of a bracket. Whereas on the 1/48, it's part of the side armor mold. So the chances of getting it snapped is higher than the latter models. Here's a comparison pic from @jenius' Anymoon website showing the armor parts. Hope that helps.
