Let's just hope that it's just mis-transformed. Upon looking at the photo again, it looks like there's some space and hinge mechanism that's probably needed the wing to push down further(?). This Tread is very big enough, so for me I really don't mind whether it's anime-accurate or not. As long that it's going to look great combined, displayed beside the Legioss Armo-Soldier mode, or just on its own and fits in our cabinets, I'm all for that. Besides Sentinel's Legioss and its Armor Bikes/Ride Armors is not anime-accurate to begin with, and doesn't crumble down the line, I'm not too picky anymore.

Yeah. And I think @Tage most did the arm correctly expect on sandwiching the fin. There's that part he did rotate when he said clearance on the arm. Upon rewatching it, it looks like after he rotated a part, the clearance probably he was referring too is where the fin will rest after it gets sandwiched. Assuming that it's going to be the same as Arcadia, this forearm mechanism is close to the lineart. Do note, that on the third image is where he sits the fin since initially, according to him he wasn't sure how it's going to end up where.
-
Yes, the location's the same. But as how the lineart goes, the fin folds first before the other half of the forearm. Basically like a sandwich. Legioss fin on the other hand swivels down. In which I believe Arcadia did on their prototype below.

Big In Japan has it for Y11800. https://www.biginjap.com/en/completed-models/26577-macross-delta-dx-chogokin-vf-31ax-kairos-plus-hayate-immelmann-super-parts-set-.html Luna Park has it for Y12500. https://www.lunapark.store/product-page/dx-chogokin-vf-31ax-kairos-plus-hayate-immelmann-super-parts-set-japan-version Now, I know most members here have different experiences with Luna Park. I haven't use them yet. They're somehow not consistent on everyone's packaging. So please take this message as a caution. Big In Japan on the other hand, I used them a number of times before for TWE stuff and I didn't had any problems with them. Do remember since this is a TWE product, it has to be paid upfront no matter which store you use.

Consolidated Megazone 23 Toy/Model Thread for 2017-2018
no3Ljm replied to RavenHawk's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Yamato initially designed the 1/2000 SDF-1 prior of 1/3000. I know the 1/2000 was not massly produced, but in a way, it ended up as their 'mock-up' to create the 1/3000.- 799 replies

I think it is, 90%. Look at the arm sequence on the far right. The big image emphasizes the fin folds, and then on the smaller image the other half of the forearm. Yes, probably it's too close to the hand as per how the sizes are in physical form versus the anime-magic lineart. I'm curious too on the arm mechanism. Like how close the 3D artist did on his. On a side note though, I'll probably wait first until I see a painted prototype before deciding on getting it. I'm more on the other schemes than what they're producing. We'll see.

No worries. Just be glad you have time to sleep prior of the PO time.

Another upcoming Sheryl and Ranka figures announcement from Winter WonderFest. They sure can't get enough of these two, huh? Is this the one you're referring too, @kajnrig?

I looked again on Arcadia's prototype, and it looks like the vertical fin folds and sandwiched between the forearm section compared to the 3D print above. Yeah. It reminds me of Bandai's anime-magic on the YF-19. I'm curious too on how Arcadia is going to do this. Or they're just going to end up having separate pieces to cover the back of the legs again.

Ah! I'm curious what Valk did you bought? As for the arm, I think that's how it is. Here's the transformation line art:
-
True. But let's use official stats in Fighter form since there's no available stats for Battroid and Gerwalk mode for the VF-5000. Based on Macross Mecha Manual, the VF-19 Fighter length is 18.47 meters. The VF-5000 Fighter length is 14.03 meters. The VF-1 Fighter length is 14.23 meters. I'm guessing in Battroid mode, it will stand or close to VF-1 or VF-11. Screenshot from the video posted by @seti88.

I heard 'Ma-Cross' again. I'm getting confuse now. But this is a nice kit. Nice to see how it transform.
-
Nice. At 20.5cm, Hi-Nu is going to be the tallest Metal Build Gundam. Now how I wish they're going to do Nu too soon. It's going to tower every Metal Build Gundams.

That is also same as Yamato/Arcadia's 1/60. Like I mentioned above, Yamato's 1/48 has a big chance of snapping due to how the armor was made. Where the DX and the 1/60 is not, since the part is a bracket. So the tolerance are higher. Anyways, good luck.

They should've somehow displayed it with the Legioss in Armo-Soldier form.

Here's another one, @Mommar. The VF-5000B from Macross Plus game. I like this one more even though it's blue. From Macross Mecha Manual.
-
I like this and the 5000 to be released next year. Since everything is slow nowadays, I don't mind the wait. As long that it's a lock-in product ready to be produced, I'll wait till next year. More time to save.

When you say regular price, you meant at MSRP? If it is, then no. The only way of getting it at MSRP/regular price is wait for Arcadia to re-release it. But outside of that, be ready to pay more if you really want it. This is how much it goes for in YJA: https://auctions.yahoo.co.jp/search/search?va=1%2F60+VF-0D&exflg=1&b=1&n=50&auccat=&tab_ex=commerce&ei=utf-8&aq=-1&oq=&sc_i=&exflg=1&p=1%2F60+VF-0D+フェニックス+Premium+Finish&x=0&y=0
