  1. No worries. We understand. You're just too excited you didn't count the zeros. Bet you're probably giggling too when you post it.

  3. Wow! You caved for Y360000? That's US$2,536. You didn't sell an organ, did you?
  4. Sorry if it caused confusion. I changed the thread title to reflect the original series title.

  7. I haven't seen any and of the recent Tokusatsu series since 2000. I just hope it will not turn into some kind of cheesy shows. But then Wingman is also one of those animes I've followed when we live in Japan back in the 80's so I'm curious too. Looking forward to see his 'change' sequence, his Winner (and Winner II) bikes, the Delta End finisher, and the Wing Girls. Everything!
  8. "A Tokusatsu Hero Otaku Saves The World!?" The live-action TV drama series Wingman is set to premiere on TV Tokyo's "DramaTues!" midnight programming block on October 22, 2024. Renowned tokusatsu director Koichi Sakamoto serves as the director and action director of the series. As Katsura's first serialized work, Wingman ran in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from 1983 to 1985. The manga's style, heavily influenced by the tokusatsu heroes of the 1980s, was adapted into TV anime and video games. The new live-action drama is made in commemoration of the manga's 40th anniversary. The TV anime adaptation was produced by Toei Animation under the title Yume Senshi Wingman ("Dream Warrior Wingman"), which aired for 47 episodes from 1984 to 1985. Cast: Kenta Hirono played by Maito Fujioka Aoi Yume played by Konatsu Kato Miku Ogawa played by Himena Kikuchi Kumiko Fuzawa played by Hiyori Katada Momoko Morimoto played by Amane Uehara Tomoo Fukumoto played by Jotaro Sakagami played by Yuno Ohara Kurotsu played by Ui Mihara Tatsuo Saito played by Haruki Tachibana https://www.tv-tokyo.co.jp/wingman/ https://x.com/tx_wingman
  9. Found some slightly bigger version.
  10. Seeing that they decided to do partsforming, I wouldn't mind if they just did the original design rather than redesign Sentinel's version. I really appreciate what MoShow did on its features and gimmicks. I even like the joints added to the thigh side armor for more movement. I don't mind at this point the partsformer feature in exchange of more movement in Ride-Armor mode. It's just that the curved design elements really doesn't do for me. Now how I really wish MoShow should've just use the original Aramaki design. I'm pretty sure a lot of us will prefer that instead even if it's a partsformer figure. Good thing it's next years release. Now I have to make room for this big boy on my shelf. The only question now is will I complete the other colors afterwards or just go with Blue.

  12. Aren't all the stuff we collect are just toys?
  13. Displayed at the ACGGBA 2024 in China.
  14. @Alex GS You're welcome sir!
  15. I'm actually not against about being a partsformer of this figure even though I got surprised when it was revealed that way. I actually like the height, the heft, and the price of this figure. And I'm pretty sure it's going to have a shelf presence. However, and this is probably just me, I didn't like the final design. I still prefer the initial design they showed which has more boxed design elements than the curved elements they ended up with. For some reasons, I really hate the feet. It's the one thing I can't unsee with this figure.
  16. Yep! As @shazam pointed out... Here's a cool screenshot from the promo videos above. Crystal is beaming the CYCLONE Weapon System.

  18. To be clear the YR-052F Cyclone figure was not made by Toynami. It’s created by MoShow Toys.
  19. If the given measurement on their description is accurate where the rider is at 25cm, and in Ride-Armor form at 29cm, the rider scaling would be somewhere at 1/7.3 and not 1/10.
  20. Yes. It’s on the Mospeada thread as well since the figure was announced years ago. As for MoShow Toys, they have those Progenitor Effect figures in their respective threads. MoShow Toys first figure is the 1/72 Strike Gundam, 6 or 7 years ago.
  21. I wasn't also expecting the Y29000 price tag. And yes, kind of like a basic Metal Build price. However, seeing that this is big, I only hope its diecast joints will last and remain sturdy. I already let my parents sold my R3 L-Gaim MkII recently back home which I just straight build it when it came out. I'll probably justify the price right now for having metal joints and already painted without worrying of paint chipping and scratching during transformation. And justify the reason why I bought the HMR L-Gaim back then in the hopes that Mk-II will come out eventually. After that, I'll rest my L-Gaim collection.
