  1. Thanks! Some of us posted some photos of it in the Metal Build thread.
  2. I agree. They do look great. And if only I have lots of money to burn, I already bought the figures from FFIX earlier on. And I would buy if there's some FFVIII too. But man, the price they command is so ridiculous. Imagine the price on the Cloud and Hardy Daytona set, it's Y26730. That's already a Metal Build figure right there, an expensive one too if I may say. It's even expensive to the MoShow's Cyclone. At this point, I think the Cyclone figure is kind of a basis on how figures should've been priced. Oh well, that dream has already sailed.

  4. I was just talking about this to my son. He was wondering if I will get some because he knows how much I love FFVII. I told him that I already gave up on that dream to have all of them. I already gave Square enough money when they started doing Playarts FFVII figures in the hopes that it will get completed one day. And now that it's available in a sweet size where you can display it along with the rest of the other 'human' figures, I decided not to get them. The only reason is the price. I'm actually thinking of selling the others in the future by a lot just to dispose of it after I sorted out all my figures. I'm only keeping PAK's Clouds with Fenrir and Hardy Daytona, Sephiroth AC, Squall, and Noctis.
  5. Yeah. True. I don't do illegal stuff or anything that is bad to my health. But this is another issue for me. I'm trying not to think of it now as an investment. Sure I can sell it down the line in case of emergency or my family will if something happened to me. But to me at this point, I don't think of it like that anymore. I just want to enjoy it. Even though they're just in the cabinet standing, squeezed together just to fit everything. And I already started throwing gorgeous looking boxes. I know. Also the wife doesn't want me paying extra for storages anymore so I just need to streamline it and just get and keep what I really want and need. But yeah, it's the Zeta. I have it in MRD form and for sure it will stay in robot form for the time being since Waverider takes too much space. And I think it sits very well with the rest of my MRDs. Now, if Bandai makes an MB Zeta Type 3A (As long that it's not too magenta for my taste like the MRD counterpart. Hence, I didn't pick up one.), now that's a different story.
  6. So I was able to get the reissue of Point Factory Metal Frame upgrade from Gundamit/ShowZ for my 12 y/o MG Nu Gundam ver.Ka. Most of the frame are now pre-built versus before you have to assemble it. The only downside of the reissue is that it didn't include the metal V fin antenna which I was actually hoping to get. I only snap built the parts onto the metal frame so not all of it are flushed. Some armor parts probably might need a bit of sanding so it can fit properly. The joints are so tight. Shoulder and feet are ratchet joints so that's good. I do really like the added weight to the kit afterwards making it feel like a Metal Build/Chogokin figure. Though the plastics are so thin compared to the Metal Builds. So yeah. The kit blends very well with the rest of my Metal Builds and the Chogokin RX-78. Too bad though that when I disassemble the armor parts on the arms from the original kit frame it's so fragile that it snapped, that's why the green parts are now exposed on the arm near the elbow joints as shown below. Which made me decide, I'll probably just get another kit if it's on sale. And sure enough that same night I made my decision I found a kit on eBay where the seller is selling it almost half the price. Probably some old stock that he has. Maybe. What's nice though is that he's also selling a HWS add-on parts which is a P-Bandai exclusive so I went and add that on my order as well hope that the metal frame can handle the extra weight after. Seller confirmed that everything is complete. So fingers crossed. 🤞 Once I receive it, I'll do some tweaking on the parts so it will be flushed to the metal frame. No painting. Just probably light panel lining, decals, and topcoat. I don't think this needed some extra detailing since it's already good enough as is for me besides my MB Hi-Nu and Chogokin RX-78. Edit: Any suggestion what glue I can use to glue the Gunpla plastics to metal? Is the Tamiya cement is good enough? Aside from the metal frame, I also have some metal exhaust parts that I want to put it as well. Thanks!
  7. Oooff. Y40000. At my age right now, these are the set of questions I'm asking myself -- Do I really need one? Do I really need it? How bad I wanted it? And if I do, will I play with it? Transform it from time to time while it's on display? Do I have the extra space for it? And do I tell my wife that I'm buying another Gundam that basically looks like the other Gundams that I have as she always say it? These questions are so rough.

  10. Why the sad face? Long period to save more.
  11. Yup, Gundamit is legit as @Chronocidal's reply. I ordered from ShowZ directly before but now since they moved Gundam and other mecha stuff to their Gundamit site, I used that too. What's weird is that seeing 'Crunchyroll' on their promo banners and such, they haven't placed the product yet on their webstore site. Toynami on the other hand just recently put the product on their store page: https://www.toynamishop.com/pre-order-deposit-the-new-generation-yr-052f-transformable-cyclone/ I actually liked that kind of pose. Esp for Houquet.
