I'm surprised that the VE-1 and VT1 are not sold as a set. Those two seem to always be linked together. Just mention one and the other comes into the conversation. Same as the M&M Valks. Buy one, and you have to buy the other.

I think House of the Dead looks pretty good. I know it is not based on the video game but I dont care. I was never into the game anyways. Besides, I gave up on movies based on a video games actually being any good after Resident Evil. I had really high expectations for that movie and it was awful!!!

I can sort of understand the logic of "if a music file is shared on the internet, and the public likes it, the public will go out and buy the CD." But at the same time, why would I go buy the CD if I can download the whole CD online? Hmm... A couple of weeks ago I was at the Iron Maiden concert and the singer, Bruce Dickinson, brought this subject up. The band was about to play a track from their upcoming album, but before they began Bruce told the crowd "if any of you got recorders to make bootleg disc to share on the internet, go ahead and turn them on. We (the band) figure if you share the file and people like this song, more people will buy our album." I have never downloaded music but if given the chance I would. There are so many good songs on the radio at the moment I would love to have them. The problem is to get that one song I have to buy the whole album which usually ends up sucking but for that one song. Oh well...lets see how it all plays out.

$79.99 + tax for a Rick MPC. Definitely overpaid on that one. Paid $425 for a Bandai 1990 back in 2000. Sold it months later because I needed the money. I got $595 for it on eBay.

I love my 1/60s. Even after getting my 1/48. They are great display pieces, and they are a perfect size to where they dont take up much space. Plus, the 1/60 has a better looking Gerwalk and Battroid mode than the 1/48. IMO. Many people here on these boards have sold (abandoned) their 1/60s, and 1/55s for that matter, to purchase the 1/48; I do not believe the 1/48 justifies the selling of my collection. I mean, why would I sell three or four of my 1/60s just to get ONE 1/48? Some people would, but I wouldn't. I will pick up more 1/48s, but I have to save up money. Luckily, the only other 1/60 I want is the Super O. After that, I can concentrate on saving up to purchase the current 1/48s.

The 1/60s should stay as they are. The perfect transformation, moveable wing flaps, etc. are what makes the 1/48 unique. I dont see the point of adding the features to the 1/60. Besides, is the 1/60 had those features, it would go up in price.

November release!!! Isnt the Hikaru Vf-1S being released in November too? When I saw the pre-orders for the 1/48 Hikaru Vf-1S, I thought, "Great!!! It gives me time from now till then to put away about $20 to $30 bucks from each paycheck to buy it." Now I find out that the Hikaru 1J is also being released in the same month!!! Personally, I think Yamato needs to slow down with these releases.
