I'm sorry but Kevin Smith would NOT be good for this type of show. I'm not saying he can't do it. I'm just saying I don't think he's right for it. Kevin Smith cannot direct heavy stuff. Character driven....in a fanboy way works. Take him out of that eliment and it falls apart. AKA Jersey Girl. I don't hate him. Mallrats very cool. Dogma VERY COOL! But other than that....you can take it or leave it. And his best stuff ends up on the cutting room floor.
