    I think everyone is holding their breath for AMD right now. I know I would love to see them competing again. As for DDR4, I think that Ryzen will be offering support for it but the AMD AM3+ processors that are available now support DDR3 only.

    Yeah, Frontier TV has not been released with subtitles on BD. Only the Macross Frontier movies to date, and only the Shudisuta box set.

    It's the same. I have the box set handy and can confirm that the card is for the BnDeNA Macross social game which was available for iOS and Android. I don't know if you can get it anymore, though. The card is an interesting piece of history, but I can't use it.

    I'm thinking it's a reissue, similar to how the Macross 7 BD sets were reissued. In other words, no difference. But that is assuming there was an encore release... I thought the Macross Plus BD was limited.

    A quick note: there were two Blu-ray box sets released for the Macross Frontier moves and BOTH of them included a PS3 game. This was the first hybrid pack release: http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?scode=TVG-PS3-1018 The only downside to this set is that it has no English subtitles. Everything else is great, and it includes a nice box too. The Macross Frontier Shudisuta box set is preferred because it DOES include English Subtitles, along with a number of other nifty artsy extras. If you are looking for one version of the Frontier movies, get the Shudisuta box set as noel recommends. Official Macross releases that have English subtitles are still few and far between. With Delta, I think fans now have three official Macross BD releases with subs? I'm looking forward to more, myself.

    Right. Some doors were left wide open after the last episode. I was wondering if the team was already planning ahead for the next part. Ajin is right up their with Flip Flappers as one of the most entertaining series I've seen in a while, although the two shows are polar opposites.

    Master Made: finally giving me an excuse to collect all the city bots. Is SD Scorponok's box bigger than MM's box for SD Omega Supreme? That box was pretty big too. Ditto.

    I'll take your word for it on articulation because I'm not a Hot Toys fan at all. Looking at the pictures alone, they look very close in likeness to me but HT Prime has a wash and extra parts with that Screamer gimmick.

    Another good comparison is with Good Smile. SH Figuarts are like Figmas. Figuart Zero figures are like Good Smile's 1/7 and 1/8 scale fixed pose figures. F360 beat me to it.

    Nice. This will be good if Arcadia continues with the premium finish line and more vendors are able to secure stock like this. With my n-y coupon, the difference came to 1942yen (or about 17 dollars) before shipping. It is noteworthy but not enough to give me sticker shock.

    Aw. I was hoping to see Capaldi and Chibnall work together for at least one season. At least we still have all of series 10 to enjoy. Allons-y !

    I'm really enjoying how much Robert Woodhead is able to improve his process and delivery with each new Kickstarter campaign. The certificates are a fun gimmick, and I'm also looking forward to the Riding Bean art book.

    The new Ajin episodes have done a great job building on the momentum from the first cour. Is there any news on how far they plan to take the story?

    The group shots look legit to me, where the pieces are lined up next to each other. The close-up shots of sections (cockpit, armor) look like mock-ups, which is what I expected to see. For me, it's as much about the 1J as it is about the characters.

    You know I was surprised that Arcadia didn't start the whole premium finish thing with Roy's 1S... But whatever Valkyrie is next after Hikaru's 1S, I would like to see Arcadia release Max and/or Milia's 1J this year too. That would be a nice change of pace, methinks.

    That could be, and I wouldn't be unhappy with that result. But I also gotta say that learning how to finish and seal a Valkyrie would be fun too, so I don't want the regular releases to disappear either. Given that, I wouldn't mind having both: one regular release to sticker myself and one premium release with the markings done at the factory. That would finally give me a reason to double dip, and not feel bad about it. Anyway, I think Arcadia would be in a better position to continue to offer the premium finish as an option for future hero Valkyries, if Hikaru's premium release is successful. I think it would also be neat if Arcadia added other things to the premium line, like maybe some of those custom Arcadia/TREX pieces that historically were only Wonderfest exclusives? I don't know how far they would be able to take the premium thing, but it would be cool if they could extend it beyond paint and markings. I guess it's wait and see for now.
