    I'm still waiting for my Voltron shipping notice. No rush, though. My copy of the DB5 arrived yesterday and I have plenty of other Lego models to catch up on once I finish that one. Happy to say that @len_d69 is starting to post some mods for the red lion already over on TFW. I like how the changes improve the shape of the lion's head and make the eyes look more organic too (if such a thing can be said about Lego).     I expect someone will attempt this is any case since the hardpoints are similar. Anyway, it will be an unexpected bonus for anyone holding onto a 1/48 collection if Yamato's ordnance works with Bandai's new Valkyrie.

    Between Fate/Extra and Fate/Apocrypha, I think it is fair to say that Fate/Extra is the stronger of the two. I was able to look past the quirks of Apocrypha though and the obvious bouts of retelling, I'd probably rank it average among other anime.

    You're welcome, no3Ljm. I was thinking about how AmiAmi asks for payment for everything at the same time too (I have completed multi-item pre-orders with them before), but it looks like I spaced out when typing my response. Happy to see you found the answer in their FAQ. Will cross my fingers and hope that your other item releases on schedule so that you don't have to wait too much longer.

    Yeah, when placing pre-orders with AmiAmi you have the option to ship items separately or ship items that release in the same month together. If you choose to ship items that release in the same month together, then AmiAmi will wait until all your "same month" orders are in stock before packaging them up and sending them off.

    Umu. So I binged the other nine episodes of Fate/Extra Last Encore this weekend, after testing the waters with the first episode. Shaft is working on this iteration, and those familiar with Bakemonogatari and Madoka will be happy to see a shared artistic influence in some scenes (tilting heads, deep angles, imaginative monsters). The story is a different take on the whole Holy Grail war idea, and I like how they have set a different course compared to other Fate anime. Anyway, I sorta wish we were getting a second season, but I'm looking forward to Illustrias Tendōsetsu.

The KitzConcept releases are looking better and better for SDF-TV figure collectors.

    Naysayers said it couldn't be done, but after 32 years here we are. Siege Ultra Magnus is brilliant. Now, I wouldn't mind a v2 MP Magnus done up the same way either.

    Going TV accurate at this scale is a very good plan. I’m in the waiting to see more camp for now, although I do have an SDF-TV sized hole to fill in my collection after downsizing a number of times. I had been thinking of doing the TV thing with HM-R only. If I can get some larger sized Valks too...well...it’s nice to have options.

    The 1/48s rise again! I really like what I see here from Bandai, but I also want to see the pricing target before I commit. So many expensive items are hitting at once.

    Gotta go with the majority here, I'm not fussed about the intakes either. Jream's add-ons were enough to satisfy my need for toy details on Meteor too. I'm planning to pick up the same add-ons for Skycrow and Lightning when they are available. I agree with @M'Kyuun about the wings, though. It's a shame we didn't get a smooth lower half, complete with bottom stripes to match the top. I also miss the rolling landing gear of the official MP, although if I'm going to nitpick landing gear I have to admit that Macross has spoiled me in that regard. I sold my two Takara MPs (Acid Storm and Starscream) long ago, and overall I'm happy to be replacing them with a team that captures bot mode so very well.

    Wow! I really like the side profile that shows the ejector seat gimmick. Another Lego car for the "to build" list. I've been saving up for the Technic Chiron too.

    I finished Record of the Gancrest War after much stalling. It didn't blow me away in the end, but I liked it. I almost thought they were going for a Game of Thrones vibe with that grueling first half but then the writers pulled their punches for the second half finale. Part of me is glad that they did. I've only had time to watch the first episode. It was trippy, but there are some welcome surprises. I'll need to make time for more episodes soon.

You can also check out the images on their facebook page if you wish, @no3Ljm. https://m.facebook.com/calibrewings/ Calibre Wings is currently working on real-world F-16 and SU-24 diecast models too, and you might get better comparison shots when looking at the prototypes for those models.

    I've been impressed with Calibre Wings real world F-14 models. I can see myself picking up these, as well, especially if there's a plan to do these up SDF-TV style.

    That was the one I was referencing. If @Kuma Style knows of another, then that’s cool too. I think IDW gave me a better impression of Rodimus. If I were stuck with only my nostalgic G1 impressions, I wouldn’t want anything to do with him. I really like how Cross Dimension is building its own lore. CD Rodimus looks rather unique and I’m excited to see how the TFCon bot mode tease translates to alt mode in Maketoys’ creative universe.

    I understand what you're saying. Either the 000 that @sh9000 recommended if you want something neutral that you can use with all three Valkyries, or the 101 if you want something to color coordinate with your red and white 1J and 1S. They both have the same loadout and you wouldn't be trading accessories for the different color scheme. Hm, the red accents might look good with Max's blue 1J too. Anyway, based on looks alone, I don't think you can go wrong with either if you need to stick to one set only.
