my preference is version 4 but with the valk from version 2 and the existing logo/stripe from version 4 for the box top.

i'm a little surprised they didnt use the devil's due rendition of Keith and the gang for the box portrait. i agree i would like to see some shiny die cast on this puppy as well as the weapon set. other than the blazing sword did Voltron have other weapons? for some reason a morning star comes to mind but perhaps i'm way off on this one.

I agree with you. its hard to find objectivity when it comes to toynami. :| i think that voltron looks pretty good in bot form. lion mode is a bit strange looking but there's very little you can do to get around that. looking at the older voltron toys this one looks far better in my opinion.

hey i just thought of something..what are the licensing issues using this artwork?? haha just kidding. the newest update looks pretty good. the hikaru and misa's pic seems to flow with the macross center pic. so no new hi-quality inserts? how much would it cost to have those printed out anyway? kudos to the designers invovled. EDIT - on a 2nd glance that valkyrie doesn't look right. i think it should be more centered on the flap rather than offset.

i wouldnt mind a megatron scaled to prime in bot mode. at worse his gun mode will be out of whack but i'ld rather have it that way.

i like the images Anubis has posted for m and m+ (somewhere in the middle of this thread). my preference is for official art vs overlays with other people's cg backgrounds. the dessert shot from m+ would look nice for the spine. great job!
