yes image anime is an online retailer.

the first four also came in hk variants which added a translucent 'crystal' base to stand your figures on (really its just a slab of plastic with 4 feet and the eva logo). the first one is clear, then there's a yellow, red, and blue one. you can get the bases separately on ebay and some stores (ignore the 'not for sale' warning on the box lol).

i remember seeing the demo/trailer years ago. lets hope they keep the same adult oriented humour.

i saw ep2 pass me by and decided not to bother with it. but if it has witty banter like that perhaps i'll d/l it for kicks.

i was happy with the first editions 2003 enzo they came out in their regular line of cars cant say i like the new chibi hot wheels.

of the ones i've opened - kubrick eva figures - kind of cute. i have no idea what i was smoking when i bought them though..should have saved my money the mcfarlane gestalt figure - cant remember what they were called but you had 6 of these really cool looking guys that form a giant bad ass figure. yeah great in theory. HOW THE HELL DO YOU PUT IT TOGETHER??? back to wal-mart that piece of crappy plastic went. the limited edition soft vinyl prime figure by medicom - it was rare. it was prime. i had to have it. huge disappointment for what i paid for it :| you even have to trim the gun from the excess vinyl molding some black giant robot (maizinger? i dunno). thing toppled over when i put the giant sword in his hand. his hand cracked the yf-11b (crappy hips) the 1/60 any valk (too floppy) at the end of the day i can always go back to my lego kits. super high quality each time, every time. no surprises there.

i they look very nice, particularly the vader image. my complaint though is that the silver/gold colouring makes it too similar to all the past releases.

there was an issue with the first 2 dvds that was since corrected so perhaps that is what you are referring to. barring the renewal set i think the adv dvds are quite good.

yeah its an awesome series. or its a terrible series. depends on your view. do you like thought provoking story lines? do you like unconclusive endings? do you like focusing more on human relations rather than big bot mecha action? do you like just plain weird plot threads? if so then you must pick up this classic. if no then you should run away from this over-hyped series. i msyelf love it and buy anything that is Eva.

bleh enough with the valks. if they want to do an SOC figure from macross how about the Macross itself. fully transformable with weapons, little mini destroids, etc.

you just slip your current dvds in. you are ordering an empty dvd boxset to hold the dvds. its a simple cube-like shape with one side open (so yes it is hollow inside) to insert the discs in. thats it. no gimmicks. just a plain box with beautiful art work. To sum up: its hollow you put your existing dvds inside the box its cube-like in shape there is no 'open' or 'close'. its just a box with a gaping hole on side to stuff dvds in and in case you missed it its made out of plastic with a metal layer. on this metal layer is the colour laser engraving of the images. very sturdy and unique.

perhaps it was paypal which turned people off. or people just voted not knowing those votes would be crucial when it came time to order. i mentioned it on AoD but they don't take kindly to bootlegs (i'm surprised my post wasnt deleted). i guess there's no point even considering an M+ case given how this turned out.
