    not sure if you're complimenting me or flaming me. at any rate i'm not kid, i've been here for quite some time (the stats are a bit skewed due to the forum switch over), and i'm quite comfortable with my views and opinions.

    thats totally laughable. we both know it would have happened regardless of cory posting (and since it was the second or third post in the thread you can't very well claim things were going along fine until he came along). my advice - if you want a more sensible discussion without the meaningless bashing stick to the AOD forums.

    i think the mikimoto came out quite nice though i'm the circles are a tad disappointing. if they were a little smaller (thus preventing the line break at the top on the spine image) and placed say on the two side panels for balance. oh well. still a pleasing design.can't wait for mine to ship

    after watching my japanese kill bill #1 i think i'll wait and see if a similar volume will be put out for #2

    the panels are plastic with a metal overlay on which the colour laser etchings are printed on.

    a few things that ran though my head while I was watching it: -why does everyone speak with a british-like accent? -this is such a chick flick. i mean c'mon at least show a few boobs. -take away the musical score and this would be a pretty boring movie -yes i get the point. we will remember Achilles' name long after he is dead -this movie is too long -is that gum on my armrest? -hey that chick in the aisle below me is kinda cute... all in all, a summer movie that was very shallow and aside from 1 or 2 fight scenes is not one which is dvd purchase worthy.

    How about image cented on the top, with the title below, and a smaller blue pyramid logo (1/2 of the existing size) above? i think it should be one or other

    i think the top is not so good. way too cluttered combining 2 images which don't flow properly.

    and they were available via Diamond in last month's Previews. edit - and supposedly the Rei in Schoolgirl outfit is upcoming.

    the holidays and the fact that they moved locations is a possible reason for the delays.

    bleh ignore the haters. i'm with you - i prefer the rt storyline. and blow up doll? come on. anyhow might as well lock this thread as i cant see it serving any useful purpose other than the usual rt vs macross hatred.

    i dont know that much about the SM mythos to really identify characters. is nephrite the white haired piano player? my guess is she's an evil monster-type under the control of one of the generals. she looks ok in the website, but in that ep some shots of her were just freaky looking.

    i flipped through it. aside from some neat pics (i.e. cut away views of unicron, the ark, etc) it is definately not worth the money.

    mio is very scary looking (and not in the cool evil sort of way). the random monster of the week is getting a bit tedious. why even bother using individual powers now..just combine and use the moon stick and wipe it out in one blast. this could be a very 'bleh' story arc.

    i get those every so often. someone really needs to come up with a secure form of email to eliminate these spoofs.

    isn't there a set of winter figures that came with the mangas that were about that height? there were 2 sets of christmas edition figures of Asuka and Rei (one set one year, another set the following year). each figure was packaged with a book so you had to buy 2 copies of the manga to get both figures (and again for the next set)
