yea, the face doesn't seem evil enough to be megs...im actually not too worried about the legs, as other TFs will be in front of him in my display, and you'll only see him from the waist up. I would like to see them change the feet though, so they were inside the handle part in robo mode instead of dangling down below like they did with all the binaltechs...but again, i wont see it the way my display's set up. I think the poses they've shot him in are a bit misleading too...they aren't very megatrony...

yea, im not quite sure why anyone would bother buying from bbts...there are countless other places that will sell it without the stupid orange tip...and it's not like it's going to be a difficult toy to find. i wonder just how big the gun will have to be to get megs up to mp prime size?

i only see venom being in the last few minutes of the movie, then being the main villai in number 4

i'll probably get it done mid-week and post pics right after...depends how busy i am with work. the stickers alone made a big difference, so i think the black bits will be the perfect finishing touch

yea, the paint is great! I thought it was going to be darker from the color on the paint cap, but it turned out exactly how I wanted. Ended up putting some stickers on last night (black skull logos and black un spacies to keep it looking camo) I think I'll end up getting the flat black camo paint too and doing the black parts of the armor just to give it a bit more detail.

I've had a couple sets of spare jetfire armor sitting around for a few months now, and finally got around to painting it tonight....I was looking for a nice olive drab color to go with the CF 1/55s...figured Id have to match an automotive paint, but ended up finding something much better: krylon camouflage paint! Comes in black, brown, khaki, and olive drab (i went with the olive). VERY flat paint, with a bit of a texture to it (nothing noticeable but you can feel it). Goes on easy, sticks like crazy, and dries in about 20 minutes. The finish seems pretty tough. I tried scratching it a bit and it was lighter where i scratched, but the paint didn't come off at all...hell, it didn't even come off when I popped the FAST packs onto the backpack armor part. The custom is technically still unfinished, but I probably won't bother painting the nozzle bits black...probably just add the kite and un spacey logos. without further ado...the pix:

someone should cast a part to fit over the hip balls when the kibble is removed...it would help widen the body and make the proportions better...plus, you wouldn't have to chop off the balls or live with them poking out the sides.

to bad they didn't use the classics starscream sculpt (enlarged and refined a bit obviously) for the MP starscream

i think it's closer in size to a 1/60...it is not a big toy

why would it tank? RD jr is one of the best actors out there today.

im sure someone else has mentioned this, but why the hell dont the wing stripes follow tje same angle as the edge of the wings? if anything i'd expect them to be swept back, but they actually go forward

yea, that thing's way too green...id almost gaurantee hlj photoshopped some of the green out of it in their pics...look slike they got all of em except for teh one with the head flipped back, cause it's still bright green.
