I think that we are all pleased with the VF-25 the design of the vf-25 has a lot to do with it a sleek fighter mode ! but if this toy has poor articulations for sure it feels really floppy or too tight on some parts For those who have the bird : you can test the following, you will see what I mean when bending the legs to the gerwalk mode from fighter it does not do a nice multi locking sound behind the air intake, it just go straight down to a 90° angle with a medium pressure (I prefer when you need to force a bit) regarding the knee section : It is more noticible when you only hold the legs of the toy (still in gerwalk mode), the knee are not secured and locked or simply place the gerwalk on a table a touch the nose the toy is balancing from back to forward I do not think that it is a reliable toy unfornately strange from Bandai but well I do not have any non macross toy from them I wish it had the same articulation as vf-1 v2 from yamato Honestly, my dream will be a yamato vf-25 anyway lucky us for having a v2
-
this looks like a yamato (my only complain will just be the paint application) my favorite for the moment (even if I really like the v2 of the VF1)

Custom Hasegawa VF-11 with Fulcrum Digital camo WIP
Ghostkiller replied to Dobber's topic in The Workshop!
hello Chris a soviet vf-11 looks great ! -
the half tornado mode does not look bad on the v2 or should I say the light tornado mode sorry for the crappy background
-
lol that was a good one for info the tornado pack is ok (except for the legs) so if you already have the tornado pack of the V1 and buy the regular new fast pack of the v2 (you will have the super tonado configuration too on the v2)

hello all I have checked the transformation's area again and it is not there and yes it did fall but in the factory it is a factory assembly issue and my retailer could not see it in fighter mode Regarding Bandai: do they send replacement parts ? any experience from a mumber ? this model is selling out fast and that does not sound good for me...
-
hello time to panic for me I have send this photo to my seller and Bandai my current nightmare after a first transformation into battroid mode

unless it was stolen, sealed ??? maybe unsealed with water vapor.... -
Wow that looks like a dammaged part and not only paint issue
-
Hello Firefox nice paint scheme But it could look better if you sand down the paint gently with really fine grit wet sandpaper Looks like the masking tape was taken off too early ( the paint did not cure enough ) was it hand brushed ??? just to let you know... nice to see something different

KICKER773 you are sick and I love it -
now that the Yf-19 will be produced in white too makes the supernova sheme quite easy to make.... as yamato will never do it ( come on yamato !! ) When I did mine it was really time consuming to get it white a red version could be nice !

man........ Just amazing ! this looks real I can feel the heat -
hello guys been looking at different pics around of the VF-11 I would like to say that a lot of you have the tail mistransformed by mistake the result is a small looking tail fin to have a correct position it must make a "clip sound" when locked into place it is a bit hard to get it into place the first time but easy do not hesitate pull it out until the locking sound result correctly put in place : closer not locked on your left it is correctly transformed looks better and not too small at the end
-
You should play with it and send in the meantime a request to overdrive attaching a pic and you will get a new full leg it should not be a problem as it is a brand new toy cheers

Bandai 1/48 Scale Macross Frontier Model Kit Thread
Ghostkiller replied to azrael's topic in Model kits
Wait Chris !! ahhhhhhhh a must have model here Is it confirmed somewhere that it is a 3 modes variable kit ??? kind of sad that my only 2 1/72 are not done and here comes the 1/48 version -
toys are great fun but for models : it is a different story models are all different depending on what you goal is... the pleasure is that you do not have a mass production toy but something unique and it is great fun when you build it , we are all proud but sad when it is done.... regarding the price : trust me models are not really cheap "specialy when the favorite scale is 1/32" for real references models wins in term of accuracy but for anime I am not too sure as it is just anime at the end but just to bring on some confusion between models and toys : my last model which have a bit toy feature : trust me or not I can play with it removing engine , moving flaps , changing loads.....

good weathering here : I will just recommand not to use stickers on weathered valks they do not last... and they add a huge toy touch decals are the only way to go for customs providing they do exist ... -
