Actually I forgot to attach the clip on that pic. For the fast packs, you pull out the clip and it attaches firmly to the backpack. You have to push the piece back down firmly too. I was in a bit of a rush taking the pics so missed the "push down" part

Like I said, horse of a different color. Different scale, different color scheme. I just love the fact that the 1/48 parts come with the cannon for Strike mode

Yep, the colors are bluish. In the color department, the Robotech MPC armor is much more closer to the tv colors, but that's a horse of a different color Here's a pic of the MPC armor for color comparison's sake:

It's the terrible lighting They're actually a lighter green than that.

well, the dome can go over the head of the ve-1, but it doesn't stay in place mainly due to the weight of everything pulling it back. I think it looks like a sombrero Not much more room to push the dish forward:

A small hidden button that performs an automatic transformation! but seriously... My comments as a collector: I would have to vote for better hands as well. They are still flimsy and suffer from limp wrist syndrome. I would really prefer it if they provided decals instead of stickers. Instructions in English or at least Engrish would be nice too. Also, some more metal would be nice, especially in the transformation mechanism pieces. My comments as a retailer: Yamato needs to pack their stuff in better stronger cases. Their cases simply SUCK and always wind up getting damaged in the mail Not to mention the flimsy piece of crap cardboard that they use for the toy boxes that easily dent and crush. So yeah, better boxes and cases (Bandai rules in this area. You can pretty much punt their cases)!

Ouch, that one cost you the Hikaru figure? Well, I guess you can put the helmet on the clear hair one and no one will know BTW, which mini transformers did you get? (PM please so I don't take this thread off topic )

Wow, I didn't know there was a VF-1J Hikaru The only one we still have available is the VF-1A. If you ever find a VF-1J Hikaru, I'd love to see some pics!

Yeah, we got a raw deal on these. We had ordered over 10 cases, and instead got ONE! Apparently the demand for these was really huge overseas. The second series is supposed to be released in February 04 and I've made it clear that we want MORE!!
