Nice the Unicorn FIX MC is looking sweet. Although the normal gundam head looks a little strange , but maybe because its looking down at a weird angle. Hope its not too expensive.- 6017 replies

Official Bandai 1/60 Scale DX Toy Thread Ver.6
SuperHobo replied to Duke Togo's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
I also agree that looks like a DX not only because of the open hand , but also noticed the landing gear door has the hinge of the DX. -
Nice. And here I thought this entry in the the armor plus line was all plastic.

Poll: Yamato 1/60 Legioss/TREAD Combo
SuperHobo replied to Lonely Soldier Boy's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Not too rain on anyone's parade, but don't you think a legioss at 1/60 scale is a little tiny? -
Alto's Ex gear is looking pretty sharp and a great start to Bandai's armor plus line.....which I'm drooling over. http://otakuhaiyuu.seesaa.net/article/128410831.html

Thanks for the little tips guys. When you guys are talking about the lower torso collapsing are you talking about the part near the hips you push up and down between modes? Either way I must be transforming it right since I'm not getting too much problems with fighter mode. The problem I have is the right arm not going in straight and locking into the leg straight for fighter mode. After further fiddling with my legioss I managed to get both arms fully extended so that's a plus for soldier mode. I'm also glad on my sample (blue one) the neck area was assembled correctly so the nose section and head can lock together properly. I also noticed a few more paint chips on the arms , but there not terrible or deal breaking. As a display piece this works fine and now I'm content with having this legioss and the old 1/35 gakken.

Haha indeed Eriku I got a decent one. I remember reading your review of the aoshima legioss and it looked like a real nightmare!

Well today in the mail I just got my first Aoshima legioss as I never had the toynami one. I opened it up and bam right off the bat there is some huge paint touch up on the nose cone ewwwww. Continuing on I take out the landing gear carefully unfold the wings and find fighter mode nice and solid? I grasp up some courage and then transform to soldier mode.....nothing broken yet. Tried posing it and ahhhhh I notice the head is stuck in place at the neck! No!!! I twist and turn it and finally it moves! Woot. So far the hands aren't broken, but they are probably the most fragile hands I've seen on any of my robots so far. Joints are tight......for now. Only 1 small paint chip to report on the engines not too shabby. For the price I paid (super gamble) I'm happy with this legioss ...... actually more happy with it than my previous CM's legioss. Now to wait for a sale on the Aoshima tread!

Holy crap Sorata all that was just one order? If so someone's hand's are gonna be busy, just don't get too excited or else you'll spoil all the fun. -
Well for those who care this latest pic shows off the metal content on wildfire's armor. Looks like the chest, shoulders, part of the forearm, hips, crotch, feet and leg armor are all metal!

True after fiddling with a little longer its still kind of a pain to make the two connect, but yes less force is needed. By chance Graham do you have any stress marks in the ball joint of the shoulder armor/ missile pods? -

Ok so here is a picture of the stress mark on the ball joint of the shoulder armor with missile pods and yes there on both shoulders. This same stress mark has plagued my super pack as well yet nothing is broken so far after 10 or so transformations. Just be very careful how you put in the shoulder armor and how you take it out. -

Well after transforming this beast to fighter mode I came up this conclusion: screw the forearm armor! Popped off so many times while i was also struggling to shove the wing grooves into the leg armor. So I ended up transforming the the thing without the crotch and forearm armor on. Additionally to my horror once again the shoulder armor that connects to the upper chest region has developed stress marks at the ball joint just like the super packs! . Even when I'm being as gentle as possible bam stress marks on those damn shoulder missile pods. Oh yeah did I mention that it takes an overly excessive force to shove those damn wing grooves into the leg armor? Ok bit*hing aside, the VF-25S looks great in fighter mode and I'm enjoying swooshing it around my office. However, I'm not sure exactly how long those peg/ ball joint connectors for the shoulder armor will last, lately i found a way by propping the ball joint upwards with a chopstick to reduce the stress of the joint when I'm taking it off. Has anyone else been getting stress marks on the connectors of the shoulder armor? -

Well despite all of the reports of paint scratches, chips and other paint related problems my sample I just received has pretty sharp paint applications and nice tight joints. Hurray for straight head lasers too. Sure the oily residue was there, but a quick wipe with my cleaning cloth and now everything shines. . Forearm armor kinda sucks , but its still not as bad as the super armor's hip armor . Only transformed to battroid so will see if my happiness lasts until fighter mode. -

I don't get it Bandai's Aquarion DX had great quality control, nice finish, excellent paint apps no scratches or greased up finger prints really SOC quality why isn't the VF-25's graced with that type of "quality" ? Factory change?, lower standards? For a high quality toy this just seems to out of place for bandai. -
Your right there is another bigger Tekkaman Blade figure being made within Bandai's armor plus line.
