  1. At this point, I'm not sure they have much budget left. They could also be short on time. I'm kind of wondering what the 2nd half would look like if they took a break after episode 13 and started again in the Fall/Winter.
  2. Odd, I wonder if the fairy squadron was built in a different factory since I hear Nexx's actually stays together in one piece. Although the super packs still have the problem of not locking into anything in fighter mode.
  3. Interesting interview! It really sounds like they loaded up the VF-31 with ratchet joints because they know the ball joints get loose. The designer is putting an emphasis and play-ability and durability. God damn finally!!!!
  4. 127 Users reading this topic right now? Who are all of you people?
  5. Wow, WTF NY being hacked on Bandai preorder night? I guess some fans are really pissed.
  6. I was reading Hobby Search's product description from Bandai regarding the VF-31 and here are the best tidbits (at least for me): "Adopt a click mechanism for the main joint." "And it adopted the first click mechanism in the hip joint." "Part in equipped with a lock system stabilize the style of each form."
  7. At this point I would like option D. because it would totally gell with his little embrassed outburst last episode.
  8. Sure, they're not major cosmetic fixes, but these fixes go a long way of making it a better toy to handle.
  9. Here are the highlighted areas where Evol modified or fixed. The hips swing bars were clearly modified and the other pictures are of the arm and leg pegs being fixed for a tighter connection.
  10. Here is the link to the twitter post: https://twitter.com/muko037/status/759331228528971776 I also talked to another friend who purchased the Nexx release and had the old Silvie release and he said the Nexx release has tighter joints, better tolerances and parts fit. Furthermore, he also mentioned some gap issues from the Silvie release were fixed on Nexx.
  11. Saw a picture on twitter from a Japanese fan and I didn't know the stand can display some of the fast pack bits in the air. I would also like to note I think the owner said that there has been some small improvements in the body.
  12. Two things: 1. I hope the armor securely attaches to the body. 2. I hope they fixed the tolerances of the locking tabs.
  13. I'm pretty sure the poseable hand can store inside the wing. Look closer in the video and the special tamashii page. You can see the pin hinges on the fingers in the video. The trigger finger is way too defined and the rest of the hand is not flat like the old karate chop hands of the version 1 DX 25s.
  14. Looking back at the anime to see if the rear landing gear were that close to ground and they are indeed that close. The knee cover folds out and the rear landing gear + knee pad are pretty close to the ground. And in the show the landing gear are grey and not white. I was using episode 13 for reference. To me the landing gear looks like the typical ones you find on every other recent DX from Bandai, it's just that the rear ones are redesigned to appear as they do in the show.
  15. Maybe if EVO engineered a telescopic feature to the neck, similar to the recent Bandai valks or Arcadia VF-0 mold then that could alleviate the clearance issues the head is currently facing.
  16. Back View: Analyze away! I see tabs on the back of the legs. Good sign.
  17. The Good: -Good large chest intakes. No dinky chesticles here. - Big meaty hands that will hopefully hold the gunpod well. - Appears to have lateral movement at the hip - Size looks about 8 inches in height in solider mode? - That better have a neck joint unlike the CMs one. - I see a peg on the forearm for fighter mode. i need to see fighter mode and how well they integrated the landing gear.

    Hi-Metal R

Damn, that is one hot walking turret monster toy. All the clicky ratchets and the hunks of metal. So good. I need it.
  19. Awww next WF for rider armors? Maybe company X needs to stop being a lonely solider boy and put those babies out on the front line.
  20. Tomorrow night WF pics should start hitting the net. I'm ready for some legioss action and maybe some new ride armors?
  21. Looks pretty damn good, I'm ready for Macross preorder night.
  22. I agree with you that the balancing act between all of the characters could be better and would have been easier with less characters to focus on. However, I don't feel like the series is being cheap with the mecha action scenes. I adore Delta's atmospheric battles and the backgrounds and I feel they are much more lively than the ones used in Frontier. In Delta I didn't think the dogfights called for battroid mode to be used and I feel it would be too slow to catch up to the opposing fighter plane. Most of Frontier's battles were in space and looked bland after while. My favorite scenes in Frontier were when they were in the skies of a planet. I also don't agree that frontier's original TV broadcast kept the animation quality up that well. The first couple of episodes looked great, but after that there would be quite a few off model faces throughout the series and as the series went on reused lots of frames. One thing In particular was the Sheryl concert scenes that was reused a lot (how many times do I need see Sheryl sweating while singing?) . I still like Frontier, but I think it's become a part of Macross TV shows or any TV anime to see some dips in animation and reused animation here and there. As far as Delta goes, I think the animation has been solid for a TV series and has had some excellent bursts of detailed animation. There are a some faces that are off model at times, but those can be fixed on the blu-ray. I also don't see the bad animation of episode 16. Aside for again a few off model faces, movements were smooth and the snow scene was gorgeous.
  23. I hope of non-scale means a good robust size. I tired all of these small legioss toys.
