At first glance, they share a lot of similarities, but when you put them side by side, EVO has done a better job on the sculpt. It still come down to build quality and after I handled the 2SS I don't see this guy holding together all too well either. However, prove me wrong EVO toys! Do better!

It would be kind of amusing if it was a 1/60 Cheyenne. However a new SV-51 would be super neat and super expensive. But back to 1/60 transforming MOSAIC can you imagine the possibilities?

The missiles look fine to me. I never really had the pink hue problem with arcadia's releases unless I focused and stared at them too hard. As long as they don't turn yellow over time or bright hot pink then I'm okay.

I'll wait for some hi-res photos and for someone to strike some cooler poses. I'm sure it won't be that pink in person.

Seeing this trailer makes me excitied and for the creative team to get away with much more without being kid friendly. I didn't even know there were four previous seasons. I think I'll revisit this show for so much needed catching up.

I'm up for any new macross show as long as the creators are confident they have a good story to tell from beginning to end. -
In a way I'm kind of hoping they are testing it on the 0A body because of how much paint is on the 0A model. Hopefully they designed the armor to not cause any paint scraping.

If Arcadia reissues the 1/60 V2 M&M super 1Js they will be the last VF-1s I will ever need. But alas, just another Hikaru or Roy release.

I've also noticed some paint chipping on the blue paint around the intakes. I'm not sure if those were there when I opened it or not. I'm not sure how they would be chipping either since these parts are not rubbing up against anything.

Nice transformation video. It's funny seeing all of the "high quality" and "caution" logos at the same. Gives me mixed messages. Interesting feature around the neck, I wonder if that's to better secure that section. I'm pretty eager to get his in hand to see how far Bandai has evolved with their valkyrie design work.

Mirage just has to play the waiting game for a little while until the doomed loli meets her fate. And then an aged, yet refined Mirage can swoop in and pick up the shattered remains of Hayate as he regresses into an empty husk of a once proud man.

I think the neck piece should be fine....for now. But if it does break again I'll contact you.

After two attempts of glueing the two halves together, it's holding on the 2nd try. There will be a scar across the neck piece, but at least it's holding.

You'll love dem lips when you get him. Shoulder transformation is tricky and the front of the jet is fiddly to get pegged together, but once you do it a few times it's not too shabby. -
