personally id stay away from the r1 dvd's the fansubs have much better subtitles, the translation may not be as accurate persay, not as literal, but they get the humor across much better

both are in english the manga has been fully released i believe the dvds have 1 or 2 left to release

spoiler again ..... .... ... .. . well i believe chiis other self(not her sister) was simply her before she lost her memory, so i guess the data on the disc would be chiis other self, in a way. and yes chiis other self is sentient. i assume they tried to erase all her memories so she wudnt go crazy but they obviously werent able to.

minor spoiler? ..... .... ... .. . im about 1/2way thru the mangas, they have yet to specifically say but i tihnk its pretty obvious that its meant to be her memorys, or maybe it was a program to block her memories? cuz her other self does seem to have hte memories

i like them, for some reason the high pitched shrieking is oddly appealing

you do need oxygen to ignit but the oxygen is alreayd inside each chamber and easch chamber is airtight so yes, a gun could work in space

just watched lost world too, the effects definitely degraded, the animatronics didnt look as real and the CG was more obviously, particularly at a few points whne the lighting on them was obviously wrong

i know that there are alot of animatronics which were excellent, but there also CG like when the T-rex attacks teh jeep and flips it, and the rex chasing the wrangler, if you look careful you can see some the CG but it is still much better looking than than alot of movies ive seen recently, i can specifcally rmeber any creature movies this year, most of it has been cg humans which are alot harder than most animals but lets say aliens 4, that cg was painfully obvious

in jurassic park the dinosaurs look uncannily real upon close inspection you can see the CG but it seems like recent films havent looked anywhere near as realistic, recent CG has been blatantly obvious but the jurassic park effects are almost flawless and movie is almost 10 years old. whats the deal?

definitely freaky, some of the pics r kinda cool, the ones that r done at a good angle and such but most of them r just creepy

are the block spots on the airbrak and further back vents or just marks? if they are vents i would say ad a little bit of weatheirng to them, everytihng else looks greta but if i were to do anything i would slightly reduced the streaked weathering, just slightly, ever so slightly

Theres notihng wrong with caucasians playing with samurai swords(u can spell caucasian without asian), but there is something VERY wrong with Tom Cruise playing with samurai swords

It looks like an Evangelion UNIT 02 spearing/lancing/killing a Mass Production Evangelion (sp?). I'm not sure if it's a Kaiyodo or Bandai. the 02 is series 1 Kaiyodo, and the 05 is the Series 1 Bandai LMHG

it looks very familiar, and ihavent looked at the lineart befroe so unless its in another gundam series, its probly in there somewhere

tom cruise is NOT a samurai

they arent diecast they were just metallic painted 2 sometihng associated with kaiyodo went bankrupt so alot of their productions have been severely delayed

I like ADV now too. They defenitely have the best DVDs. Plus, they're 19.95 anywhere I go, (Fry's, Best Buy) except Suncoast. And, yes, they occasionally have a 3 episode DVD, but that's offset by the occasional 5 episode DVD. Plus, they have the best titles (RahXephon, Full Metal Panic, and so on) of the year, the best packaging design, and impeccable work on the subs. Also, they have great video quality (admittedly, as far as I can tell, I don't have an HDTV), something that would decrease with more episodes on a single DVD. yea they are $20 at the best buy near me i said $30 because thats the suggested retail, i would perfer all 4 episodes discs instead of a random combo of 3's and 5's. personally i like mediablasters, their dubs suck but they give you entire series in 4 disc sets

i fail to see how that gunpod could possibly predate the GU-11, it's sleeker and looks more advanced, thats like saying the sword predates the cudgel

how is ADV the best US distributer? i stopped buying most of their dvds cuz they enjoy ripping ppl off with 3 episodes on a $30 dvd which is just uncalled for, i tihnk a dvd shud have 5 or 6 episodes, 4 being absolute minimum, unless its a short OVA

odd, maybe theres regular screws and 1 security scre win the nomad, an alan key should work with that, just ned right size
