prime, prime is both a awesome toy and a great display piece, the flippity floppity escaflowne is prettymuch display only, plus mpc prime is more faithful to the original design and has much less visible hinges and such

1 kit, just the transcortcher/street punk, i especially like how the upper body came out, the shoulders and guard frame really look just like the loader

after hours of thought and trial and error, i managed to contruct a relatively faithful reproduction of ripley's power loader from aliens: note the footholds it took a long time to figure out how to keep the proper shape with losing poseability, it took a long time to figure out how to manage the foothold, and it took forever to figure out how to bring it all together, the figure is supported by the foot steps and stabilized by the loader arms, which are in tern supported by the xevos' arms, so its a balancing act of sorts. things that are a little harder to tell, i am using two pieces of chest armor on the xevos that resemble a safety harness, thats also why i chose that particular guy's torso. the xevos does have pegs to hold onto the arms so they can flex together, there were many easier, more poseable, more stable ways out but they looked less like the actual loader, this was the best looking result. side note: during my attempts to make the loader i also stumbled upon a pretty good way to duplicate those rickety mecha from the matrix, but i dont liek them nearly a smuch as the loader so i abandoned it and continued to search for the perfetc loader

Not worth it to me personnaly...But now that used sets can be found at places such as EB Games for $9.99...well...its still not worth it to me crap is crap, no matter the price the same can be said of current music and movies

maybe if the backback included a stand that extende dout fo the back so, combined with the legs it will be a tripod, and someone else carrys the ammo and hooks up the shooter when needed then MAYBE its possible

i really like the female robots he done, theyre poseable and intricate

How many movies do you think would get made if film budgets only covered the cost of the filmstock? -zero!- So yeah, maybe a film made back all its money in the theater, maybe even earned a decent profit too...So why is it so frickkin hard to understand when they go to sell the DVD that they want to make some money off it at the same time the Walmarts, Best Buys, K-Marts, Suncoasts of the world are profiting from thier work? Why is that such an evil thing? Hell, Macross made back its money and then some in Japan...and for a small in comparison one time fee Harmony Gold has been exclusively makeing a fortune off Shoji and company's work...and we all bitch about that! but youwere saying that dvds cost more to make than books, then why can you buy a blank dvd for less than $1 but a blank notebook of low quality paper is $3 while real books are made of higher quality materials

i tihnk i rmeeber seeing that when i was like 4 or something, or the one i saw mightve been a herd of rabid rabbit, i just rmeber one scene where some ppl were hiding in a cellar and the rabbits were chewing on the cellar door to get to them and i tihnk some got shot at them thru the door

plus the whole tihng about the ants going to anchorage didnt make any sense, they were only able to survive because the volcanic activity int he area made the gorund warm enough for them to live, if they left the area they would surely die, so going to anchorage is out fo the question

1998, so as a recent B movie its full of shitty CGI ants instead of just buying a swarm of ants and taking pictures form diferent angles like they wudve 15 years ago

This is probably the worst movie I have ever seen. It's a creature feature, of course. No, the creatures are not giant, mutated, or in any other way special, they are regular soldier ants in Alaska. The whole movie doesn't make a lick of sense. "OH MY GOD, I'm sitting in my car and there's ants on my legs, I think I'll flail about on the gas pedal and crash instead of getting out of the car and going somewhere the ants are not" "OH MY GOD I'm in a helicopter and there's ants on me, I think I'll flail about at the controls and crash into a cliff instead of getting out and jumping into the river 20 feet away from me" "OH MY GOD I'm surrounded by ants, I'll just curl up and pray instead of running over them, after all they are just ants, they cant jump or run as fast as me" "OH MY GOD I'm surround by ants on a beach, but I don't think I'll wade into the water where ants cant tread" "OH MY GOD there's ants in the town, we gotta flood the entire town" "OH MY GOD the ants will reach Anchorage in a MONTH yes a MONTH, its not like we could organize a few hundred gallons of Raid in a month." It is complete nonsense, there is no way that soldier ants could pose any real threat in this modern world of cars and bug spray, they might have to evacuate the town for a few days and send in a squadron of guys with bug spray but thats it. If that wasn't enough, go see the movie. But, watch it with a bunch of friends so you can laugh at how ridiculous it is, the fact that this movie is actually supposed to be serious makes it even funnier. As a serious movie, 1/10, as a comedy, 7/10, there are some scenes that are so unbelievably senseless that you cant help but laugh your ass off.

perhaps the resin kit has been aorund for years but this is a PVC statue, prebuilt and prepainted, if the production ones look as good as the test models then it's damn nice

if it wasnt anime physics she would be BUSTing out of that outfit, pun intended

i dont mind paying for dvd of old good movies, but 90% of new movies coming out just suck, only movie i saw in like 2 or 3 months was hitch and it was just eh, last good mvoies int heaters were spiderman 2 and the incredibles, both of witch are worth buying

standard space explosion in 90% of scifi anime

i dont know about the animation of the caracters but there were a lot of scenes that werent exactly rotoscoping, they were just live footage broken down to 2 or 3 colors, usually black for the people and another color for backgorund and lighting, done to look like animation but it was terrible, i hated that movie mostly because of the animation
