  1. All I know is I'm getting tired of people stealing images from my website. GO SCAN YOUR OWN!!!
  2. From the album: Macross Songbirds

Is it just me or has her singing gotten a lot better? Just wondering because I actually like this album a lot.
  3. Well, there was this company called Filmation which made some pretty good stuff back in the day. Their animated version of Flash Gordon was awesome, but they were also known for some real stinkers. The ship in the picture is called a Seeker and was the work horse and training vehicle of the show "Space Academy". This ship was also used in a different variant in "Jason of Star Command". And if you remember another of Filmation's shows, "Ark II", you'll realize the front portion of the Seeker is actually cast from the front of that show's titular vehicle.
  4. LOL! Quark!
  5. Going old school here. Love both of these ships.
  6. Her rants on Facebook are pretty indicative of the way they are treating her. She's angry and I don't blame her. The staff over there are treating her very unprofessionally. As much as I hate to see her quit the show, I wouldn't mind if she said to hell with it and went home.
  7. Meh... I'm waiting for the release of the film version of Adolescent Radioactive Blackbelt Hampsters. Now that will rock.
  8. Perfect Blue was awesome. R.I.P.
  9. BJ and the Bear. Oh wait, that's not sci-fi.
  10. Forget the blu-ray. I'm buying this version of Star Wars! "All of joo, ged to za pawdrazers!"
  11. I'll buy it. I purposely did not buy any of them on DVD, so no big loss there. I still own my laserdisc boxed set of the three original movies and while not as sharp as DVD, they suit me just fine thank you very much.
  12. I hate to say it, but Space Academy along with the original Ark I were two of my favorite shows when I was a kid. And while it may be cheesy now, some of the stories were actually very intelligently done. I've seen a few episodes of Space Academy recently and found myself actually enjoying them.
  13. I want to know where this version of BSG was hiding. The Chinese Battlestar Galactica
  14. Well, I'm almost 45 and I think they are telling me I'm too old to play with dolls as they call it. But I love collecting these figures. However, the way I was carrying on about Macross sounded a lot like the way I carry on about Gunbuster, and I realized I was sounding just like those nerdy fanboys that eat, sleep, crap, and masterbate to whatever they seem to love at the moment. It took them and me kind of by surprise.
  15. Bought the Ranka figure at Otakon today and then had to explain to a few of my friends what Macross was. The looks I was getting were enough to make me stop. I realized that I am a Macross nerd.
  16. One of my figure acquisitions from Otakon today.
  17. My new desktop for now. Nagisa all suited up in her armor from Iczelion. I also got a Hatsune Miku skin for my Winamp player. (Yes, I sill use Winamp. Sue me!) By the way, big size: 1920 x 1080.
  18. From Anime News Network:
  19. Yeah it does.
  20. The British army had received its worst defeat fighting against a technologically inferior indigenous force. Basically guns and cannon against spears and knives. The British got their asses handed to them that day.
  21. Have you ever heard of the massive British defeat at Isandlwana by the Zulus?
  22. Apparently that guy has not been to my site. I got quite a bit of memorabilia from Gunbuster.
