Drama CD's I believe. Yep. They are from the radio dramas, all of which can be found on the complete Sound Collection of Gunbuster 3 CD set. If you have the Kaiyodo action figure, the Gunbuster comes with the Buster Homerun and Buster Tomahawk weapons. -

Maryland's stupid gun laws will prevent one like me from owning a civvie P90 simply because of the magazine capacity laws here. They suck! If I get one I guess I'll have to leave the state, buy some mags, and come on home. That's legal to do, go figure. As for the barrel length, the BATF requires a 16" minimum on all carbines if I remember rightly. However, I was just looking at a FN Five seveN pistol the other day... -
This is me: I do love pancakes and blue is my favorite color, which is pretty odd since I did get this. As for the omphaloskepsis remark, I've never wondered why I have a navel. And I'm definitely not involved in my community, unless you consider my internet buddies as that community.

I got the two boxed DVD sets, and promptly got rid of the Nadia Movie included with the second box. What a piece of trash that movie was. And if you need to be reminded of it, go here: http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=311&hl=

From those crazy people at Fabrique Nationale who brought you the M249 SAW and the FN-FAL assault rifle, comes the equally snazzy USSOCOM's Special Operations Forces Combat Assault Rifle (SCAR). Seriously, has anyone heard about this thing? According to the webpage I saw this on, there will be 2 versions. A light rifle which will fire 5.56x45mm cartridges and a heavy rifle which will fire 7.62x51mm cartridges. An image of the light version is below. You can read the info on this rifle HERE. -
Streamline Pictures dubbed three Dirty Pair films, Affair on Nolandia, Flight 005 Conspiracy, and Project Eden. Affair on Nolandia was crap, and I really didn't care for it. But it introduced me to the Dirty Pair. I also liked the voice actors they used for the Streamline dub. When ADV acquired the license, I was hoping they would be able to use the same actresses as in the Streamline release. However, this was not to be. At least this time we got a Japanese language track. As for the classic television series ADV is selling now, haven't gotten around to buying them yet. I will have to rent those to see if they are worth buying.

I will have to check on that. Since Northrup Grumman is a defense contractor, I do not know how many she can get away with making. I know she will do it for me if it is kept down to a minimum of 2 or 3, but I will have to check on others. -

What I will probably do is order those shirts and have my brother's mom-in-law make them in a larger size for me since I am such a fat ass. She is a silkscreener at Northrup-Grumman and can make anything. -

New Update!: Hobby Link Japan is now selling t-shirts! Get them while you can! Below are the images of the two shirts they have for sale. Too bad they don't have them in beefy sizes for guys like me, but I would never wear it anyway. I will still get a few for my growing collection. -

I got my order in rather late. CD Japan had three left, so I snatched them up. You know, Yes Asia and Hobby Link Japan still have them in stock if I remember right. -
I loved the original Dirty Pair. Never read the comic though, mainly because I felt that the Americanization of it looked really bad. And I was not a big fan of Dirty Pair Flash.

The Official Aim for the Top! Gunbuster Thread

Just got my figure sets and DVD's today! Freakin' EMS is fast too. I just got notified yesterday morning they had shipped and they showed up early this evening. I will eventually get around to watching the remastered DVD's especially the pan and scan version of episode six, but I'm kind of taken with my figures. I ordered three cases and by sheer luck I ended up with all 9 figures on the first try. Pictures of them all will be posted on my site on the Toys page as soon as I can get them uploaded. As for the other two cases, I am keeping one, and possibly putting the other up for auction on eBay sooner or later for who ever may want it. -

Dude, two of the club's owners are frequent posters here. I'm one of them. AreaSeven, who posts here quite a lot, is the club's original creator. Anyways, welcome to MW buddy! As for the topic of Gunbuster on DVD here in North America, it's been discussed to death over here too. One can only hope. And CD Japan finally shipped my new remastered set today along with my figures! Yay! -
Then there's that whole "Florida Smokey Rider" thing. She is obviously very popular with the Florida Highway Patrol.
-
Take another look. This image is not that large, which is why I used the other. It is most definitely a "D". Edit: Then again, maybe I need glasses.
-
First it's Akane with the suggestive shirts decorated with the f word. Now we have this. Does she even have the slightest clue what she is wearing? And yes, it does say DIKE. And don't even get me started on the "Florida Smokey Rider" statement.

Robotech and HG license debates
Noriko Takaya replied to Roy Focker's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
I just noticed on Robotech's site they are advertising the new Appleseed movie. Seems strange they would do something like that when they blast every other thing not related to Robotech. They are saying that they are friends with Micott & Basara, who co-produced the film. Very odd, unless they are trying to get dibs on releasing it here in the States. -
Survey: Ten Worst Comic Book/Superhero Movies
Noriko Takaya replied to areaseven's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I plan on making the movie Abslom Daak: Dalek Killer. Do you think it will suck? I loved the comic. However, I have to agree that Howard the Duck is the worst movie adaptation of a comic book ever made. Lucas should have had his license taken away after that one. -
George A. Romero's "Land of the Dead"

You know, I brought up that very question earlier last year when the DotD remake came out. Maybe zombies rot to a certain point then stop. Who knows? -

I live in Maryland, one of those states they list as screwed. However, I am armed pretty well and have plenty of ammo, so I guess I'll be okay. Don't know about my neighbors though.
