All in all, while I am a fan of the Doctor and all that, do you really think there is a need for him to have his own thread? I don't think there is that large of a fan base here to warrant it. After all, we do have the other one... (Stands back to be beat upon by the masses of Whovian fans out there.)

Oh, I still have my full size AR-15, and fire it religiously. And my training in the Corps went back further than yours to 1983, so I am kind of old fashioned too. Hell, I love my M1 Garand. I just wanted something different, and different is what I got. I'm happy with my new toy. Hopefully I can take it to my buddy's farm this Saturday and BZO it. However, the little woman has things to do on her mind, and that may not happen. -

I considered putting a grip on the front, but since the carbine is semi-auto only, I felt I didn't need it. I've got a tactical light for my USP .45, but I am not a big fan of it. I don't think I would get one for my rifle. -
Derailing the thread????? I am just stating the facts. He came after me bro, like I was some clueless civilian who knew nothing about the military. AIRBORNE!!!!!!!! Well, six years as a Marine infantryman entitles me to speak more about the Corps' politics than you. And as anyone on these boards knows, I do not feel the need to brag about my military service or what I have done, but I can tell you I have had my fair share of time on ground in hostile areas with fire coming my way. And how are we to believe you? Ever since you joined this community, you have been caught in some lie one way or another that no one really believes you anymore. Pogue.

Hey MGREXX, since you obviously do not know what the hell you are talking about, you pogue, stop talking like you know everything about the Marine Corps. Unless your ass made it through boot camp, which I doubt you ever went through, I do not consider you worthy enough to even look at my beloved Eagle, Globe, and Anchor, even if it does appear on a science fiction show. And by the way: ALL MARINES ARE GROUND POUNDERS. It is not theory. That is the basic doctrine of any man or woman who joins the Corps. Edit: By the way, this is a Marine. And it is me.

Well, here it is, my Bushie M4-gery all souped up as of right now. All things are subject to change in the future. The sling is Specter Gear's SOP deployment rig, which I am finding will work out pretty good. I also went ahead and got the RRA EOTech sight rail, and the EOTech 552-AA HDS to go with it. I still have one more sling adapter to get, which will go on the telestock, so I will be moving the sling down to that adapter when it arrives. So, as of now, I can't wait to take it to the range to get it zeroed out. -

Try reading through the thread. Someone around here has fired one of the things before. I'm pretty sure JsARCLIGHT has fired one; I seem to remember his views on the weapon were kind of so-so. But I could be wrong. -
Hey! This is friggin' fun! How the fuuck did I miss this thread? Let's try this word to see if it works. It is really bad, so if it offends you, do not highlight and read it. That is only if it works. cha-cha I see that it did not work. The word that rhymes with runt was replaced with cha-cha

Word. I have a friend or two who I would never trust to hold a firearm, even if I personally checked to see if it was unloaded. I have to make sure my safe is locked up nice and tight when they come over. -

Just for you: You hear that? Crime went down. Everyone out there get MORE guns! By the way, I now have a set of handguards used on the shorter CAR and M4 type carbine rifles. These are not the larger M4 handguards. PM me if you want to buy them. Or if you have something to trade... -

Yeah, I was planning on getting the EOTech 552 HDS with the AA battery capability since the N type batteries are kind of a pain to come by and more expensive. Plus, the AA version's battery output lasts longer. As for whether the N type sight will fit the sleeve, it should. It's a tad bit shorter in length than the AA. Like you, I am used to iron sights, and am pretty good at using them (Qualified as Rifle Expert 2 times while in the Corps, the other two were sharpshooter), but I am wanting to try something new, which is why I got my new carbine with the A3 upper. And on another subject, I really don't have a problem if my front sight post is in the way. I just like the option of moving the rear sight down to use the optics and popping it back up to go to the iron sights. -

My new sling, sling adapters, and M4 handguards came in today and I have them installed on my rifle as I speak. I guess I'm stuck with the Izzy flash supressor unless I get a new M4 upper. I have a question for those who are AR nuts who have used these in the field or who have had previous experience with them. Rock River Arms makes a decent sleeve which was specifically designed for the EOTech sights (See first image), but I am kind of leaning toward the A.R.M.S. sleeve (2nd image) because I like the idea of the rear sight aperture being able to fold back. There is also a $25 difference between the two. Let me know what you think. -
Yeah, my Nextel does MP3 tones. So it should not be a problem. As for the Gunbuster MP3 files, I have the entire 3 disc Sound Collection of Gunbuster recorded in MP3. PM me if you want 'em.

I wonder if this cute little maladroid also comes with an equally cute green haired alien hottie with abnormally sized breasts. -
I would love to have a Gunbuster ringtone. My day would be complete...

You know what? It's a damn good thing HG never got ahold of this wonderful anime movie. God, I quake with fear at what they would have done to Gall Force. By the way, how would you have explained away the absence of all males? The Solnoid race was all female. I will probably regret saying this, but I think HG would probably try to convince everyone that Protoculture mutated all males into the Paranoid, and the Solnoid were innocent victims which had to fight for their survival. Meh.

I kind of like my custom title. Being the "daughter of defeat" kind of fits my custom avatar, seing as how Noriko was taunted with it by her classmates. Please don't change it.

I didn't like the Highlander movies, but did like the television series. When the Director's Cut of Highlander came out, it moved the film up a notch in my book, but it still sucks. With that said, Highlander is also like a train wreck. When you come across it on television, sometimes you just have to watch it to realize how bad it is.

Hey, if you look closely at the bottom of the packaging, you will see Select's copyrights are in New York and Japan. I wonder if Harmony Gold had some evil intentions behind this? Anyway's, I think I may get this! Edit: What I even find funnier is that while the package says he is there to destroy all humans, in the fighter mode you can see the little human pilot. -
