Gan was one of my favorite characters next to Avon and Vila.

Which is why I think the writers of this show should have left the original show's methods of measurement alone (centons, for example) and used them instead. While I have fell in love with this new series after originally hating the miniseries, some of things they do boggle the mind.

Well, this is to all of you out there who are fans of Star Wars. Haven't seen this posted yet so I figured I would share it. The first season of the new Doctor has been released on DVD for sale. They are region 2 discs, but there is no word on whether they are NTSC or PAL formatted. You can find them at the Doctor Who Store. Volume One Volume Two

Not bad for a fledgling anime studio which originally produced model kits and books.

TMNT ruled back in the day, and I'm talking my day when the original comic came out. I could never stand the animated series, and the first movie was as close to the original as it was going to get. And that's all I have to say about this.

I've been wondering about this series. I haven't bought it because I have never seen anything posted about the series until now. The Best Buy where I live has all seven volumes for about $12.00 each. I was thinking of getting it.

Call me out on this, but I used to own a Baretta Model 92FS (M9) and I seem to remember that the handgrip on that thing was not as big as on the USP 45. Then again, it has been ten years since I sold mine as I hated the thing also.

Ah, I wouldn't say the USP is unweildy, you just have to have the right sized hand for it, and that is something I got in spades. I have a USP 45 and the pistol fits in my hand like a glove, but then again I have big beefy hands for handling those big loud handguns. And I don't have the souped up version either. The only extras I added to it were the tritium sights.

Got my UK edition this afternoon. I'm going to be a busy little fanboy tonight! And I got the Serenity disc.

Well, actually, the alien ship which crashed at Area 51 was in reality a recon craft used aboard the Galactica. In negotiating for the release of the crew, the Galactica and the US government signed a deal where we would get some of their technology. The humvee was one of those things. The Galactica's version was powered by a fuel cell and not gasoline. The ones used in the show are on loan from the Galactica.

Yeah, outside of the insanely rich, who the hell can afford to buy this thing? I've got better things to spend $6000 on.

Regarding the Best Buy UK version of BSG, I'll probably go ahead and get this one. I really don't need another copy of the miniseries pilot and I can do without the extras.

What I want to know is, with Boll's shit-fest of horrible movies and how badly they do, who is/are the moron(s) who keep selling him franchises and funding them? And what does Boll tell these actors who sign on? They obviously have to know the movie is going to suck. God, Uwe Boll should just go away. (Shudders uncontrollably at thought of favorite video game character BloodRayne's movie coming out soon.)

I've heard of the term "Martin-Baker Fan Club". If you eject from a fighter using one of their seats, you become a member. An official list of members is maintained on all pilots who have ejected using M-B's seats.

Well, got my new bayonet, but the gun show sucked this time around. Not as many vendors there as in times past, and not a very large selection. I also managed to cart off 2 ammo cans of 5.56mm for my AR's and 1 can of 30.06 for my M1 at a fairly decent price, so I'll have plenty of ammo to last me for a while.
