Noboru Iguchi's "Dead Sushi"
Noriko Takaya replied to Noriko Takaya's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
What? Two pieces of sushi bumping uglies at the end of the trailer wasn't enough? -
Ooookkkkaaayyyy... Here we go again. More tastless Japanese splatter greatness. Only this time sushi goes on a rampage. I'll be there first in line! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Uj6ZGIjisk

Prometheus - on Blu-Ray and DVD Oct. 9, 2012
Noriko Takaya replied to Pizza the Hutt's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Saw Prometheus last night. Absolutely loved it. Didn't give a crap about inconsistencies and plot holes knowing first hand the movie was flawed. This led to my enjoyment. Definitely gonna buy this when the blu-ray comes out. -

It just dawned on me that Elizabeth Shaw is also the name of the third Doctor's companion in Doctor Who. And she is also a doctor. Hmm... -

The Engineers are also known as the Colonists. They developed the black slime/black oil that would change/destroy life and create anew. They were collaborating with the Syndicate until Fox Mulder found out their plans. How's that for a tie-in? -

Had to do a book report on 2001 when I was a kid. God that was a hard thing to do.

Well, she might if she is a Cliff Richard fan. And since it doesn't have anything to do with Macross it would be a sure win. (Off topic also: I love the episode 'Sick'. The sight of hippy Neil dressed as a police officer busting heads is funny.
-
And you Rick, are a complete bahstard! I love The Young Ones. But not as much as Mari Iijima.
-
If anything, I really dislike Mari's songs for Macross with the sole exception of Do You Remember Love? and An Angel's Paints. I am a big fan of hers and have bought many of her albums. I even went out of my way to find a copy of probably one of the rarest compilation albums of hers: Mari Picks "The Ultimate Collection" (1987-1999). Her most recent EP is very good. I expressed this to her on Facebook and she sent me a private PM thanking me. How many artists would go out of their way to do that? Living on the east coast, it is kind of hard for me to fly out there and see her performances at Ghengis Cohen. I would really love to see her perform live. I fully understand her feelings on this matter, and when I do respond to something on Facebook she writes, Minmay is the furthest thing on my mind. She is Mari Iijima and will always be to me.

Nor I. Anyways, Farscape is great. Never watched it during its run. Got the complete DVD collection as a gift last year for my birthday and watched it all in the space of a month. Great stuff.

Now that I think about it, I wonder if the cop shot the man in the head. I mean, the news reports did say witnesses heard multiple gunshots. Did the cop try wounding the zombie, I mean man, to get him off the victim. Or did years of zombie films train this policeman to shoot for the brain? -
