  1. Will not be as awesome as the premier of Robogeisha. But I'll see it.
  2. You wanted it! Now you got it! Now, if I can go any further than this it will be a miracle. The Gurren Lagann Index!
  3. Unfortunately I cannot afford to devote myself to running another obsessive anime site. As cool as it would be to have a Gurren Lagann Index, I just don't think I could do it.
  4. Forgot to add the second figure I found. Here it is:
  5. Oh Yeah! Look what I got a Otakon today! I love it!
  6. Well, I met Kanon Wakeshima Friday afternoon and got her autograph. Very sexy girl in person. Below is the image I got her to sign. And she even wrote my name. Yes! Can't wait for her concert Saturday. And I met Tony Oliver. Very likable man, and he actually talked to me quite a bit about his role as Rick Hunter in Robotech.
  7. I spoke with John Sirabella Friday afternoon at Otakon. For those of you who may not know, his company Media Blasters brought The Machine Girl and Tokyo Gore Police to the States. He says that there is a VERY GOOD POSSIBILITY THAT ROBOGEISHA will be made available here. Yes!
  8. I am so excited that those guys who made The Machine Girl are releasing Robogeisha soon. It will definitely be a hard one to beat, but the makers of Tokyo Gore Police are releasing a little gem of their own which is just as highly anticipated for those of us who follow the Japanese splatter film genre. You can view the trailer below the movie poster. Vampire Girl vs Frankenstein Girl http://www.youtube.com/watch?eurl=http%3A%...p;v=BjjMev9pNOA
  9. I will be. It seems Noboru Ishiguro is going to be one of the guests this year, and I'm also looking forward to the concert on Saturday which will be given by Kanon Wakeshima. Very excited! Hopefully I'll be able to get to meet her at the autograph session after the performance. One of my favorite performers, right up there with Ayumi Hamasaki. Oh yeah, Tony Oliver is going to be there too, so I wonder if he will be fielding any Robotech questions. He is after all, Rick Hunter.
  10. Another pic. The girl is the actress/nude model Asami. She was the mom in The Machine Girl. I have seen her nude. She is smokin' hot.
  11. No, it's not stiff and brittle. The quality is actually very good, and the image is soft and bends easily when you fold the shirt. No cheapy here.
  12. GEISHA HARAKIRI!!!
  13. Must keep this thread alive! Tengu Milk!!!
  14. Damn you! Beat me by a minute! Argh!!!
  15. Okay, according to Lisa Katayama of TokyoMango who did the report, the answer is: The answer to Friday's robot quiz: Left = Android Repliee Q2, the robot. Right = pretty Osaka grad student.
  16. If this film is as great as Noboru Iguchi's other film, The Machine Girl, I will be drooling. I love BAD Japanese splatter flicks. God, I want this film bad.
  17. Yes, it is. I have been looking for it for a while, and bam, now it's all over the place.
  18. Zoë Poledouris, daughter of Basil Poledouris. I just found a pristine version of her cover of David Bowie's I Have Not Been To Oxford Town from the film Starship Troopers.
  19. Well, Jackson may have been ruler of the music world at one time, but Farrah Fawcett definitely had me and every teen-age boy of my time going ga-ga over her awesome body and that wonderful poster she put out. And talk about irony, the woman had a beautiful rear end, and that was what killed her in the end. No pun intended. Oh, in case some of you here have never seen the poster that made her an icon on every boy with raging hormones during the 70's, here it is:
  20. Right here, my friend: http://www.choiceshirts.com. And they don't even ask if you own the image. Something wrong with that, I guess, but I don't know how to silkscreen and these guys were cheap.
  21. Well, got my first shirt back and they did an awesome job on it! This is the back of it. Camera flash made it a bit grainy and light, but it did come out wonderfully. And below that image, I did finally find a way to italicize the font for my buster beam shirt. I'm still going to use the same image in the background, but it does look better with the italics.
  22. Good movie. Time to dig it out of my collection and watch it again.
  23. Yeah I know the changed image is not entirely accurate, but I could not get a sufficiently hi-rez image of Gunbuster firing the beam weapon and the one image I substituted kind of shows Gunbuster's "Yeah, f**k with me and see what happens" attitude. The image is from episode 5 and this is when the mecha slams into the hull of the Exelion to protect it from the uuchu kaijuu. And yeah, the use of buster homing laser is strange, but that is what was printed on the original shirt. I wanted to keep the text original.
  24. Okay, working on a second shirt as I stated before. This is a remake of the officially released Buster Beam shirt. Background text remains the same, just a different image. Background is black to show you what it would look like on the shirt. The front image is different also, but with same text not italicized because Photoshop does not offer the font Impact that way. Also on a black background. I like this one and think I will get it done. Already got a quote and it will cost me about $28.00 to have it done. I've gotten work shirts from the same company before and they were top notch. The images I used were hi-rez, so they should come out too.
