  1. Yes, it has been translated.
  2. While working on finishing the profiles of several VF-19s, I got in the mood to do more markings, so we have two squadrons of VF-4s tonight, SVF-302 Stallions, a reserve squadron, and the CAG, CO, XO, and line birds of SVF-213 Black Lions.
  3. Since I'm working on -all- the VF-19 second generation versions, this one had to appear. I've been working idly on it some, finally got enough to preview.
  4. Finally finished a pair of squadrons I've been working on, plus a preview of a couple more. Besides the Bounty Hunters' skull, all the markings are drawn from scratch by me. I think the Black Lions' tail insignia is the most complicated one I've done so far.
  5. Check your email, anime52k8, I sent you the markings you requested.
  6. Sure, email me or pm me to remind me to send you it tomorrow. Stars like VMF-321 are easy, I used them to make the SAC sash on the nose of this B-51. What I did was add them to my lineart in MS Publisher (Since it has a clipart star drawing tool), then export into GIMP at high resolution and color the templates. As far as NMF (Natural-Metal finish), my collaborator just posted this tutorial. http://www.whatifmodelers.com/index.php/topic,20962.405.html See if that helps.
  7. I'm the same way, when I get working on stuff like this, I get working. I work in a government office, and a lot of the stuff I work on, particularly now at this stage of our product development cycle, a lot of the stuff I'm working on is bounced around to either my bosses or our contractor. Since I work very fast, I get a lot of work done in a short time and then I have to wait to get stuff back, which is when I work on this stuff. Those VF-11s look good, hikaru! Looking forward to seeing some Howlers.
  8. Yeah, I get like that too, where I can focus on one and get a LOT done in a short time. The problem I usually have is that I'm usually at work or in class when I get a chance to work on something, so I can only do a bit at a time. It's a real drag! I also work on a lot of different things at once, since I tend to get annoyed at something if I keep working solely at it. Things were a lot easier when I just colorized them. Shading sucks like that! I guess part of the reason I like the VF-4 is that it's a lot different then the VF-1, VF-3000, etc. It stands out to me, and plus there's the lack of animation of it. It's a neat design to me.
  9. It takes a lot of time and effort to work up a template from scratch like I have to. The VF-4, for example, I've been working on since May of 2008, the lineart since December 2007! The main reason it seems like I've only been doing those is that it's my only completed template. That's not to say I don't have any others in the pipeline, because I do. Here's proof of two projects! The VF-0 is in long-term hold, due to lack of motivation with it and a friend doing some VF-0 profiles over the past couple months. As you can see, I need to tear it down and start over, minus the Ghost. The VF-19F is currently in production, though, and I hope to get it done soon, along with some surprises related to it. I also have a YF-21, but I haven't been far in it and I haven't worked on it in a long, long time.
  10. Just for that... I'll continue to do more VF-4s as well! Had a quiet afternoon and got a lot done on it, but as you guys can see, -quite- a bit left to go before I'm anywhere near satisfied with it.
  11. Sure, go for it! I did my VE-3 Howler EW variant too, which would suit those electronic warfare schemes.
  12. Hmm, now what do we have here... Very early in the WiP stage.
  13. Recently, I've been collaborating with another artist on doing Martin XB-51 Panther profiles, so I've had the VF-4 and other new Macross projects on the backburner. Anyway, I managed to get one of the three squadrons done, so here's SVF-103 Jolly Rogers in their modified markings compared to their VF-1 days. And here's an example of the XB-51 I've been helping on.
  14. Thanks, hobbes! I had actually updated my VF-84 VF-4 already, I haven't posted it, though, since I want to do a low-vis one first in line with the other VF-4 squadron profiles I've been doing. My Jolly Rogers plane is a VF-103. Got one more low-vis for that to finish before SVF-103 is done, then have to finish SVF-14 and one more and I'll post them all. Consider this a preview of SVF-84 Vagabonds.
  15. Mix of the two, actually. Recently I've been doing more and more drawn ones, like SVF-32 and some I haven't uploaded yet, like SVF-14 Tophatters. I can share if there's any you need.
  16. It still takes time! Mostly because I can't sit down and do most of it in one go anymore like I was before I started to work. Now I'm lucky to get a half an hour to work on it at a time. That does, inevitably, lead to extending the timeframe needed for completion.
  17. Yes, I do. However the only template that I have finished, and finished to my standards, is my new second-generation VF-4 one, so I've been updating a lot of my old VF-4 drawings, which is what you see here. The only all new one was SVF-32. This Southeast Asia one, for example, was one of the first ones I did last year and badly in need of an update. It takes a really long time to finish the shading, the highlighting, and the minute detail. This is the one I'm currently on my way to finishing. I still need to draw, color, and shade it's cockpit, plus finish the shading. The only other finished templates I have are real-world military aircraft. I guess since I'm doing new squadrons and really changing up the markings, most of them drawn from scratch, it's keeping me from being bored with the design.
  18. Don't worry, I will. But first I need to finish the Rogers and Tophatters! I'll post them all together.
  19. [tease] Something like this then, guys? [/tease]
  20. I did a VF-2 VF-4 in that exact color scheme during my first run of VF-4s. I'm going to do a triple profile of them, that, the old CAG schem, and a low-vis bird.
  21. No, but they should be coming soon enough. Probably Tomcatters and Swordsman up next.
  22. Preview of some of the squadrons I have in the paint shop right now.
  23. SVF-96 will get upgraded eventually, along with the rest. Thanks, chillyche! And here's SVF-1A Wolfpack (designated as such, since SVF-1 is the Skulls).
