Saw it tonight Venom is more than just a cameo. Funny thing is, I don't think they ever call him Venom in the movie. Spoiler Venom's appearance doesn't seem to be a setup for him to be featured more in a 4th movie. The ending definitely seems to have closure, but you never know oh and yes the movie rocked! I liked it the best out of the 3 and had no problem with the way Venom looked. Thought his origin was a good nod to the original comic origin with details a little different but with more of the Ultimate Spiderman Venom physique

A buddy at work pointed out that Hiro changed the timline so that Sylar never killed Charlie the girl with the super memory. So he was never at that diner and didn't absorb her power.

Here are some of the nods to other Tarantino films I caught. In Planet Terror, when El Wray goes to the Bone Shack for the first time, JT gives him a pack of "Red Apple" cigarettes. The same brand Butch Coolidge (Bruce Willis) asks the bartender for at Marsellus Wallace's bar. After the first car wreck in Death Proof, Earl McGraw and Son Number One from Kill Bill question Dakota Block about Stuntman Mike's injuries. When Zoe, Abernathy, Kim and Lee go to look at the Dodge Challenger, the owner Jasper is the same guy who paid Buck for some alone time with The Bride while she seemed comatose. One of the buddies I saw it with said the bottle of whiskey that Stuntman Mike pours on his bullet wound is the same brand Kurt Russell drank in the The Thing. anyone catch any other easter eggs?

Holy Crap....John Kreese had his own show? F-in wow. I used to watch Sidekicks, Blue Thunder and Streethawk but had never seen Hard Time until your post A7. Just got back from seeing it and Frackin Loved It Best 12 bucks I've spent and the most fun I've had at a movie in a while (but I dig Rodriguez and Tarantino flicks like a fat kid digs cake) So if you don't like movies by either of these directors, then go see The Reaping, Are We Done Yet or Wild Hogs instead I liked Rodriguez's Planet Terror more than Tarantino's Death Proof, but as a total package it was definitely worth the Price of Admission. Planet Terror - what can I say? Gore, hot broads, bullets, and did I mention Gore? Death Proof was a bit wordy and it was a little slow in the beginning, but the car chase scene at the end made up for it. The Faux trailers were awesome too. Machete, Wolfgirls of the SS, Don't and Thanksgiving all helped make it a complete Grindhouse experience. Ironically I saw the movie in a really nice theater, but I'm planning on seeing it again, so maybe I'll catch it at a dive. If you go see it, keep an eye out for nods to Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill. I'm sure there were some nods to some of Rodriguez's flicks but I've seen Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill multiple times so... So, suspend your disbelief, check your brain in at the door and don't drink a 32 oz drink

I could see that, and while "I can smell what you're cookin," I think Venom is going to Rock. Besides, not as bulky or as smooth as the comic is still WAY better than Willem Dafoe in a Power Rangers villain costume sporting a permagrin

Great episode, they covered a lot of stuff. Some random thoughts and questions: I thought the part where Suresh tortured Sylar with the tuning fork was great (kinda funny that he happened to have one around) If Suresh creates a new list of Specials, won't Sylar be able to memorize the whole thing (assuming he absorbed Charlies power before he killed her in the kitchen)? Huh, so Nathan has two sons? Have they ever showed them? I wonder what their powers are if any. Interesting that Nikki is now able to take control briefly. Man, now that Hiro has his powers back he really needs to hone his skills and not randomly jump. Parkman's pregnant wife is gonna kill him for leaving to Texas and not calling for how long now? The new girl could be an interesting way to keep Sprague in check. She could just take on the appearance of his dead wife and they'd be able to manipulate him. And Linderman....does he have some kind of pre-cognitive power?

with Sprague locked down in Primatech, I guess that temporarily negates Peter going Nuclear in New York. Guess we'll see how well they can detain Sprague since they did such a good job with Sylar. Pretty dumb that they didn't have the Haitian mindwipe Sylar while they had him in custody.
