I'm just doing these as image tests. See what pics we like and where. I figured we could stretch and tweak them once we know which pics we like. I too agree the pyramid should be somewhere on the box. I'll tweak these some more though anyway. I haven't touched the huge .tif's either. Those are still unedited. I actually still need help removing the text from the few images that have it, along with any color adjustment once we settle on pics.

Is this 19/21 pic worth incorporating into a design?

newtest2. New side collage (upgrade from the CD pic) with secondary characters as well, and a full sharon pic on the right. 19/21 appear on the spine and top. Pretty good mix on this one I think. Not sure about the logo and a picture on the top though. Depends on how well they can be blended together.

Wow, the silver replacing the white looks awesome. I don't have to worry about the white then in the Macross Plus pics, if it translates to that nice shiny silver. Both Macross boxes really came out great. Expect some M+ updates today.

They also have this unpainted Natarle available. I never did like Natarle. She was more annoying generally than Fllay's worst.

Hobby fan did have unpainted ones of those two. They also had unpained and painted Cagalli and Fllay statues as well. For Cagalli and Fllay the Megahouse 1/8 figures are pretty good as well. Didn't like the Megahouse Lacus though. Sculpt didn't look right to me. A cheap Murrrue would be cool. They have this unpainted Murrue available

We knew from before that it was going to be 3 sets. They showed the 3 boxes a few months ago. Total for the 3 combined being 150 is new, but hardly surprising. Looks quite good, but pricey. Better deal than Toynami usually does though. If I only knew what happened to the old one I had though from a few years ago. Lost it in a move somehow. If Voltron goes on sale I'll consider it, but I guess we should be greateful they didn't want 70 or 80 for each box.

Good to see Zeta is still on track. Wonder where F91 is though? Maybe they're saving news of that one for AX or Otakon?

I saw it last night, and I enjoyed it quite a lot. I found it more engaging than Chamber of Secrets. Very good job.

Yeah, magic suspension in the air would be awesome. I saw one kit in the past that used rods to suspend some Haros in the air, but it didn't look right. At least gathering at her feet they look pretty good still, and more natural.

Completed. The paint job is flawless. It's shiny, and wonderfully detailed.

The base. This was the only minor problem that I had, as the holes were just a hair too close together, so I had to widen one hole with a knife first.

I could only afford 1 statue between the Lacus Statue from Hobby Fan, or the 1/12 Mahoro Sports Bike PVC that comes out in July, so I decided to get the Lacus statue instead. If Mahoro is still available later in the summer I'll consider it, but at the price for her I opted for Lacus now. I have to say I'm happy with my choice. Another very good statue. The pre-painted statues at Hobby Fan are awesome. They do good work. Their packaging is great as well, actually excessive. The box with the parts wrapped in a box with an outer box around that. Anyway. here are the pieces. The sculpt for this statue is pretty much dead on I think. Great piece. Expensive, but you get what you pay for. Also, for a completed statue the price is still lower than a lot of other places.
