They still modeled a FAE bomb in the show, wether that was the one they intended or not. The daisy cutter is just an 8000 lb explosive. Thereis a mushroom cloud from the explosion. No fuel dispersal however. It's "successor" the MOAB is a 10000 lb bomb. Lots of explosive packed together. Not as fancy as expelling all that fuel and then detonating. The earlier shots of a real FAE weapon collaborate that the weapon in M0 was a FAE bomb. The nickname could be applied if you felt like it though.

Gotta be careful with the side panels though. They can't be too dark otherwise the text will not show. That's why DA put this color up.

I only bought 1 Set of armor for my Hikaru 1J.

Sharon box updated. Much better shade this time. Battroid Pics removed. It does look cleaner without them.

Sending pic to you

Merry Christmas!

That was funny

[Navy Spokesmen] Uh, here is our newly developed Macross-class battlecruisers, we got the idea from a cartoon. -NOS Now that would be funny. Imagine the look of the enemy when the bow of one of the ships opens up and the energy buildup starts. Seriously though. New toys for the Army, new toys for the Navy, start mass-producing the F-22 already!

Here's one with Bobe Patt's blue sharon. I think she could use being a shade darker possibly, to go better with the sides (maybe try the same shade as the sides?) but a blue sharon in general on the spine really does look pretty good. My heart's still on the desert spine, but this one is shaping to be a good alternative. Any more feedback from Paul on the sides? Did he check how they would look? Or do I need to send him the better ones for him to check?

Very nice. I want a YF-19 Did you add ball joints to the thighs?

Going to post an updated sharon box with bobepatt's blue sharon example tonight. Might be a tough call between that one and the desert spine box. We'll see how the other one looks. I think many will be pleased with that one. One plug for the desert box = the pics are pretty much ready to go. the sharon box, almost there.

That is one of the coolest guns I have ever seen. New uniforms, and now new much improved guns. Awesome. Lightweight, lots of options, overall slickness, and still cheaper. Well done. Does have kind of a cool pulse rifle appearance. A red dot sight by default?!?

As Zero Draws to a Close.....a Question or 10.
Anubis replied to Mechamaniac's topic in Movies and TV Series
At least expanding it to 6 or 7 episodes would be nice indeed. Would give a lot more room to tidy things up. They can squeeze most of what they need to in the last half hour, but it will feel very rushed. Even making the last episode 45 minutes would help. I agree, the AIPHOS is going to year a hole out of the Asuka to get out before rejoining with the head. What's after that is the question. It's safe to say it will happen early in the episode, due to Mao's reaction to the FAE strike. It's wings are already forming after all, and it's powering up. This will leave the suka in even worse shape, really needing the arrival of another carrier, this one with the badly needed VF-1's. End battle ensues. If Macross tradition holds true, then DD and Roy may have to work together in some fashion by the end. Shin will still end up kicking Nora's ass. -
As Zero Draws to a Close.....a Question or 10.
Anubis replied to Mechamaniac's topic in Movies and TV Series
I think it'll be rather hastilly wrapped up, with no big explanations on the background of the AIPHOS. They may make a mention of Sara and Mao being actually decscended from a protoculture person (or persons) that had come and stayed on that island with the Mayans. That's about all I expect from there. Probably at the same time as the AIPHOS is dealt with. It was already starting up at the end of Ep 4, so it won't be too long before it gets into that. The burning of the forest and Mao's subsequent reaction will probably set it off. The Asuka is too beat up to accept new birds, so I still say the Prometheus shows up with Skull's new VF-1's. They then transfer over to the other ship. There is no way the Anti-UN comflict will be resolved, just this particular skirmish. It went on long before this story, and will continue for some time after still. I don't know what the the AIPHOS is going to do, but I don't think it's going to go around destroying everything, though it's going to do something. The shot from ep 1 of the great kadun setting the island the island ablaze might have been Sara's foretelling of the FAE strike. I thought it was supposed to be the AIPHOS at first until I saw the bombs in ep 4. If the AIPHOS sends out some kind of signal before it is destroyed (or takes off leaving everyone "WTF happened") then everyone may realize that something bigger is on the way, bringing some of the ASS-1's cousins. They may be rather tempted to go tell their superiors to get the peace process rolling. "Unite or fall" basically. DD may prove to be a voice of reason. He doesn't seem particularly evil, just fighting on his side, and abusing his apprentice. Nora on the other hand has shown more of an evil streak. Nora will definately be killed by Shin I think. DD depends on the what happens with the AIPHOS. DD had an edge against the VF-0, but against a VF-1 him and Roy would probably be on even ground. Shin will just kick Nora's ass. Edgar I get the feeling is going to die. Shin and Sara may find him mortally wounded in the jungle. This will give Shin the final push to whoop Nora. That and SOMEONE dies in every Macross series. Shin may die somehow as well. Don't know what they are doing with Aires, but we already know Roy's tendencies before he settled into his long-term relationship with Claudia. Old flame temproarily sparked. These two obviously wanted something more with each other, but their paths took them apart. They'll relaize this probably. I also think they will have Roy and Claudia meet (first time, or again) resulting from Edgar's death, with him and Shin going to tell her about Edgar, maybe have a the meeting at a small funeral scene. The rest they'll leave alone. As for surviving the FAE, I think the "protective sphere" will be coming into play again, since they didn't mention it after they landed in the trees. I kinda would have said how the hell did we survive that but shin left that question alone. There won't be much actual detail put into things, but hopefully they will wrap things off decently. This show could easily have been stratched to 12 episodes. Just don't expect for many in depth answers. We've probably got most of ou character development already. Just the Sara/Shin, Aires/Roy things to tie off loosely. I would love to see an SDF-1 epilogue, but I don't know if there will be time left. Maybe during the credits. -

The HGUC NT-1 Alex is out now. Non-clear beam saber, but other than that, looks great. That's one thing I don't get. Some kits come with the clear saber, some don't. It's just wierd and kind of lazy I think. Aside from that, it looks like another excellent HGUC kit. Now, where's the Kaempfer? I'm deferring actually buying this until I see a Kaempfer. I only want an NT-1 if I can wrap a chain mine around it. -
End of the Jolly Rogers Tomcats, final deployment.

I second that. The crying picture as well. -
When the VB-6 comes out you can make a little diorama with it in gerwalk stepping on the Q-rau triumphantly. Maybe a GBP armored 1/60 CF if you want it in scale. That really sucks about that. How in the hell this guy can sleep after doing this stuff to people's packages is beyond me. You are probalby not the only person whose package was destroyed by this guy. The only thing I can chalk this much damage to is running the box over with a forklift, or loweing a pallet on top of it. Just looking at the backpack is painful. A golem would have had to step on it to do that much damage, so we're talking machinery/vehicle. Chronopost get the official "worst shipping company ever" title. I'm serious though, send pictures of all this stuff to a consumer group. They would love some hard evidence pictures like this to compile.

Got my set of armor yesterday from Tam. I like my set of armor a fair bit actually, with the exception two things. 1) The mickey mouse hands. Seriously, if they were going to include large fists with this they could have used used the 1/48 closed fists and saved themselved the cost of tooling these monstrosities. Way too big to look good at all. Reg. hands+gunpod for me. 2) The nosecone cover kept falling easily off of mine too. I used the clear nail polish trick and it fits nice and secure now. As for the legs, I don't mind them too much. The pegs fit snugly enough for me, they are not really pushed that far out. Being able to do some form of dynamic pose would have been nice though of course, but again not unexpected that movement would be limited. Posability isn't much, as expected, but the detail is very good. I also like the booster attachment sceme. Simple and effective. A few dumb flaws keep this from a high score, but it's a decent effort, and makes a solid display piece. A good deal for under 40 bucks. This satisfies my need for a GBP armored valk.

You don't have to drill anything to use the Yellow Submarine stands. It holds the models up by those two prongs. The Freedom MG will have a hole for the stand in the bottom of the mech built right in. If you don't mount it on the stand, the hole will be covered up by an extra piece. Those yellow sub stands hold the suit by prongs?! Sweet. In that case not a bad deal at all. -

that stand looks pretty cool looks like i'm ordering one of those when i get my freedom The freeedom should be coming with a stand already. That stand on HLJ looks pretty cool, and extremely affordable. You have to drill a hole in your mobile suit to use it though, the only problem I see with it. Care and a dremel tool should be fine though. Being flexi, it will be nicely posable, but I wonder if there will be any sag over time. -
The Astray footage seen is from the game, not an OVA. Next CE Gundam Show is Seed2, which should be seeing a spot in one of Japan's anime mags soon. I wouldn't object to an Astray side-story OVA though. Would be nice actually.

Can you pull that off on the source .tif? I can send it you you if you like. Is this the kind of sharon computer pic you were looking for? hmmm, almost like it, but I need a more clear shot of that and up close. Oh well, looks like everybody likes the blue sharon. And what was that you asked? Can I pull the picture off the source? All I did was save the picture you posted up and changed the colors. If you want a hi-rez one, send me the file and I'll tweak the colors. Send it here: labelstation2@hotmail.com That's exactly what I meant actually, if you could do the blue conversion on the high res source pic. It's on the way to you. still waiting for the files..... Coming, I have to get back home first.

Write to the paper. They love to bash companies anyway. Many places are all fine and dandy with screwing they customers, until they finally get bad publicity, then they play nice. Unfortunate that it takes smearing your foe publically to get anything done. If there has been any e-amil correspondance, attach that to your submittal. Then there's always drop off rodents or other unpleasantries at their doorstep. Shipping companies always have some doors or garage doors open somewhere.
