That is the Kotobukia 1/7 Pre-painted Soft Vinyl Darth Vader. Seems semi-hard to find online now, and those stores that do have them want a pretty penny for them. I had to hunt to find it for 99 shipped. Don't know what the ebay situation is with these guys. There are a few statues of this line so far (Clone Trooper, Jango Fett, and some others) though the only other one I might conisder is the upcoming Boba Fett, or an Emperor if they make one.

Better shots of the lower left shelves. The one I put was a little far. Seed shelf + GFF Ex-S Gundam. Space reserved for the MG Freedom.

This was over in Anubis' Display Case thread. That's the PG Zeta, right? So that looks similar - hip-joint as high as cockpit.... All I know is that dem dere PG kits is mighty big & sexy!! Yeah, that's my PG Zeta next to my 1/48 Roy VF-1S. Wish I had room in the case for the beam saber to be active in that pose. May adjust the pose to accomodate the blade later. The Kahen Senshi Zeta is at the PG's feet.

Spider-Man 2 review! (spoiler free)
Anubis replied to Zeta Otaku's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Electro would be good if handled properly. Given how good they executed Dr. Octopus there's hope for Electro. Kraven would be cool, always liked that character. Again, it's all how they use the villain. How about someone like Ghost Rider? Bring him in, they naturally get in a fight, and then team up against whoever Ghost Rider came for. Then again, Ghost Rider should have his own movie. -
I have that wallscroll. Great pic, especially with the flyby orverhead in the full view. The leg thrusters are big enough it should be able to hover and move pretty well. Don't think it would move as quick as a normal VF, but the VB should enough thrust to get it in the air. Hooking the rail cannons into the drive system gives it its high speed flight in shuttle mode, but everything else comes from those leg exhausts. This puppy would have so much better performance in space than on the ground though. Gerwalk would have been a pain to design the thust balance control due to those rail cannons, and factor the drag this thing would have. In space this thing would rock.

What video Game Character Are You?

I'm off to see the princess. -
Even if for some reason it should belly land in shuttle mode, it should be able to transform and right itself anyway, like any other valk. Scratch the hell out of the paint in the process, but it already did that belly landing anyway. The VB-6's default mode has got to be the gerwalk mode, and that is likely the reason it was based off the monster to begin with. All the benefits of the Mk. II Monster, with the extra benefits of being a variable. Much more efficient for taking off and landing with a mecha this big. I still think the biggest use for destroid mode is for space, where it could John Woo style pump reaction missles into starships. Question: How does it fire in Shuttle Mode? I'm guessing the arms move out some so they can fire missles and bombs? The rail cannon barrels are hooked up to the drive system, but it should be able to fire everything else, right?

That's the shoulder armor from its atmospheric fast packs, as for the arm add-on I would imagine it would keep it from going into fighter. There's no way that could retract into the arm, so that's just a nice heavy armament add-on. It would make for a destructive gerwalk/battroid though. The cannon probably is a one-shot thing like the VF-17's single beam clip. If it can destoy a Monster in one hit, there's not much else it can't destroy in one hit.

Right! And then it just starts flapping the legs to gain altitude! That Kawamory guy must be a genius! Or it has a flying sport car like the old Mazinger, that'd be so cool! Serious now. I'll get the Köenig and everything, but IMHO not giving the KMonster a gear it's a mistake. I can imagine a four star General yelling at Kawamori: "And where am I suppose to store a whole squadron of these things, for pete's sake?!" Actually, wouldn't they store easier in gerwalk? Less surface area on the floor that way vs shuttle, and line them up with a catwalk along the top for the pilots to hop inside. That would be a sight to see that bomber squadron.
-
Given the nature of the VB-6 its understandable that there is no gear on it. Quite simply: there is no space inside the fuselage or legs for landing gears the sheer size that this thing would require. They would get in the way of the transformation. It simply takes off from Gerwalk, and transforms as it flies away. Lands like any other valk can in Gerwalk. Nice and easy. It probably has those "boarding rope" things like mobile suits have in gundam for the pilots to hop into the VB-6. In hangar it's easy, as there would be a catwalk installed.

It would be 1.2 meters long at 1/1000 scale. Tad too big to me. I like 1/4000 personally. 30cm long cruiser.

That's the pre-painted 1/6 Misato Statue I got from Hobby Fan. Here's the thread from when I bought her. The Lacus statue I also got pre-painted from Hobby Fan. I was also quite excited to get the Darth Vader I hunted for online out of its box finally, and up top where he's supposed to be..

Yes, those are two Ingo display cases from Ikea. I thought about the Detolf (and like the general look of that all-glass case better), but the Ingo was cheaper, and had an extra shelf to work with, 5 vs the Detolf's 4. So the Ingo was the winner since I can only fit two display cases. Just put the "lower" priority items on the bottom and you get used to the level pretty quick. My only issue with the Ingo case is the wood bar that comes across the center shelf. If you're by the case you can see fine, but as you can see, depending on the angle you can't see CM Roy's head, or the Aile Strike's head. Getting used to it though. The shelf with the Aile Strike needs to be that height so I can make sure the Frredom will fit when the MG comes out. I was actually surprized that I fit all 5 Eva's in the Upper right. Crowded, but I like the effect. I kinda want the SOC 03 and 04 now to match the front 3. The die cast bug is biting me again, though I try to resist.

Finally I have the stuff in my display cases and shelves the way I want them. All I need to do now is adjust some of the valk flight angles on the bookshelf a little, and attach the micro missles to the 1/48 Hikaru FP I have opened up. No pictures/wallscrolls on the wall yet either. Essentally done though. Someday when I have more space I'll buy a 3rd display case and spread out better, but for now this will more than suffice. Unfortunately after I buy the MG Freedom and build it and my HGUC GP03S (suit only) there will then be no more space in the gundam section, and if I get any more something will have to be put away, or go on top of the bookshelf or one of the cases. My family already told me before I had too much crap. Now they shook their heads quietly, but left me alone. Now the pics. Wide angle of cases
