N-Jammer-cancellers probably went on the disallowed list as part of the armistice. Again, the N-jammers were the only thing keeping PLANT from being destroyed, so those would have to still be just as highly in use. Safety measure so some wackos (Blue Cosmos) don't destroy some colonies. Thus no new nuclear powered mobile suits, and ZAFT instead developed this remote recharge system. Though everyone knows both sides have a nuclear-powered MS or two in storage or on the drawing board.

Athrun was never really the nemesis in Seed, it was a friend vs friend story for a while. Rau was the nemesis through the whole series, just with Mwu at first, and then with Kira as well once Kira dealt with him a couple of times. He's dead now, so there should be some new newtype bad guys introduced in Seed Destiny. They only scratched the surface of the Blue Cosmos in Seed, even if they killed the leader at the time. All the nuclear moebius pilots in the end of Seed were apparently Blue Cosmos since they were spouting that pure blue earth crap, so it's got to be a pretty prevalent problem as well.

Saw it in Walmart last week. The fighter mode does look reminiscent of the VF-17, but OMG the robot more is horrible, especially the face There was another Galaxy defender there that made me think Astrotrain as well.

I need Devastator, Bruticus, Defensor, and Predaking, and I'll have all the gestalts.

How hard could it have possibly have been for the little boat to get the hell out of the way. Isn't someopne supposed to be on watch?

Predaking was also in the 2nd or 3rd season of the G1 series. Sorry, I meant only appearance in the comic. In the show they appeared in the "5 feaces of darkness" 5-parter after the movie, ironically a wasted appearance chasing Wheelie and Daniel. Don't remember if they appeared again after that. 5 Feaces of darkness? hehe, didn't know there were 5 pieces of Sh!t in the series. actually that term isn't a bad one for that arc IMO. Yeah, I can't spell today. That arc gave us: quintessons where Kup and Rodimus didn't remember them from a month ago in the movie. Jazz stupidly renamed in that race, and loads of other streaming ... feces. And a wasted Predaking appearance. Oh, yeah, and Skylinx bailed Wheelie and Daniel out and didn't get shot down. All this to deliver a COG that kept Metroplex from transforming. A COG...that fit in DANIEL'S HANDS.

You can tell form the unpainted poorly sculpted pics on the bottom that that's what those two are. No even professional painting can save thosebudget non-HG 1/144 kits. The HG's and 1/100's will look WAY better than that. It still boils down to wether you like the design or not in the end though how it will appear to each person. Buy what you like, no one forces any different on anybody. Seed's model kits have sold in droves in Japan, and proved very successful. All the model lines for Seed, from the budget 1/144 (no idea how though ) to the HG 1/144 and 1/100, and the couple of 1/60's. Thus the forumula continues for Seed Destiny.

Those are the cheap ass non-HG 1/144's again just like Seed's $5 ones.

He'll be in either ORB or Zaft territory, so he probably doesn't have to worry about the alliance. Just like the Archangel crew is apparently in orb judging from the phase-after piece. Also, the majority of the Alliance didn't even know Kira was in the Freedom. They wrote him off as dead when Strike was initially destroyed, and wouldn't have known it was him later on. The EFSF did have a nice way of teating it's war heroes though, from Amuro's house arrest, to how the 0083 boys was screwed over.
-
Nah, Kira will be living with Lacus on PLANT probably, or still be at that island where Markio's house was (with the orphans) like he was in the Phase-After short.

Actually, the bars would have to be thicker to make it work especially if these really existed and transformed like that. I don't know if there is a metal out there that can support that much weight at that size. And imagine what would happen if a transformation was done in mid-flight? The pressure alone would cause it to break. Yeah, I thought stress cracks galore when I saw that thing transform.

There was also a nicely rendered VF-1S in that spread.

New Gundam FIX and ZEONOGRAPHY on the way...

The F-91 does have the beam shield, look at the "dark" one in the bottom left. nm, zeo-mare beat me to it -
Even as happy-go-lucky as Anakin was in Ep.1, Yoda and the council were reluctant to train Anakin. Even at the end, Yoda wasn't happy, but resigned himself to the turn-out. If Anakin were a brooding, or angry kid Yoda would have said hell no, take him back to Tatooine. Unacceptable risk with that high potential. The fact that Anakin was a good kid was why he was trained.

I'm sure many of the previous characters will show up, Cagalli is a certainty, if not in the first episode with Athrun, and later Lacus and Kira are bound to show up or be visited. Orb will surely be revisited as well at some point. First couple of episodes will probably deal with the introductions, and apparently 3 of the zaft suits stolen this time to start off with. It says the 3 piolots sneak into this armor 1, but doesn't specifically say they steal the suits. The earth forces girl that will pilot a gundam smells like newtype to me from that description, at least similar to Mwu.

Official Transformers Alternators and more thread.

Where's prowl dammit? Maybe for the next Mustang as a police repaint. I can only hope. Seeing grimlock as a car is wierd, but I love Mustangs. -

Hopefully Seed Destiny brings some of those hanging plot threads to light and resolves a lot of them. It was petty obvious they left a few things unresolved to come back to later in a new show. Like I said before I really enjoyed Seed. I hated the Justice, and also the Mobius mass models, but found the other mobile suits workable. The show just hooked me good though for some reason. All I bought from Seed are the Metal Material Aile Strike and an HG 1/144 Providence so far (though I may upgrade to 1/100 eventually), and I'm going to get a regular Red Astray (not sure which scale yet) and MG Freedom. That's it. The Abyss I don't really like (though outside of the Z'Gok I haven't liked any amphibiuous suits so far), but the other designs I can deal with. What irked me before about the Strike was how Bandai Marketed the kits. You coudn't just buy the damn striker packs alone. Not with the Impulse, there's no way to even have the 3 come together like they did on the 1/60 Strike. Different phase shift color for each pack. Nothing like double dipping. For some reason I kind of think Freedom may show up again, though I could easily be wrong. Have Kira show up to help at some point. His gf is Lacus Clyne after all, so odds are some suit is in storage for Kira to hop in if need be. Again, all the info so far covers pretty much the first episode, just like when Seed's announcements came. There's a lot they can do with this show, so I am looking forward to it, even if a couple designs are so-so. So far the Impule is ok (I expect we'll see more variants than just the 3 modes so far, like an IWSP or something), and the Gaia and Chaos seem interesting so far. The savior is so-so, seems an Aegis/Airmaster mix to me as well (didn't like the Aegis that much either). I think it's a safe bet the Strike Rouge will come out again as well later. Only a couple of years after Seed means all the surviving/repairable suits from Seed are still viable. So far I remain optimistic.

Predaking appeared early in the original comic (their only appearance if I'm not mistaken). It was where Megatron supposedly died at first. Megatron had kinda flipped after Prime's death, Shockwave said enough is enough, and sent the predacons to finish Megatron off, they swapped their symbols with autobot logos, and they actually beat the crap out of megatron, BEFORE they merged. One of them tore part of his face off. I think shockwave showed up with the space bridge and made a litttle speech or something, then Megatron walked over to the bridge, and blasted the gate, apparently being destroyed in the blast. It was a LONG time before he showed up again later, to torment Ratchet (a hobby of Megatron's it seemed) and forced him to make some Pretenders for him using Grimlock, Jazz, Bumblebee, and Starscream. They explained it something like Megatron wandered some part of Cybertron's wasteland for a few years, till he bumped into an Autobot that he promptly killed and came to his senses.

Gorgeous, and it looks like it'll balance well. At first glance it seems like it should stand up straighter (not transformed right again), but really if you pose it too straight it would probably tip over easily with the huge backpack. Looks good though. Like this there is a good center balance to the weight. Thanks for the pic, Graham. Given the current trend, this is probably the final paint scheme. It's appeared a few times like this already. Only down I see is that we really will need some Takatoys or Anasazi decals for it though. Overall I'm loving it.

If you see the computer schematic in the cockpit as the VF-0 transforms, you see the hip joints activate as well at the same time as the arms. The legs are definately supposed to attatch to the nose cone like on the vf-1. Just with the extra fuselage length, they went with the swing bar route for some reason.
