So, to me, that clinches it. Anakin doesn't just get a little toasted in Ep 3. He physically honest-to-god dies and is resurrected by machinery and Palpatine's dark powers. Hence, when he shows up as a spirit, he's as he looked physically when he kicked the bucket. Check out the mp3 file HERE. That is such a HUGE cop out. If Anakin was truly dead within Vader, then there would have been nothing to redeem. There would not have been that spark of good left in him for Luke to reach. Lucas fished for a pretty lame excuse there, to say that that was how he appeared when Anakin died in ep 3. Not happy. So what, he automatically resets back to where he left off as a light-sider? Whatever.

The vidnotes were pretty well done as well. ADV did a good job on the release. For once I even liked the dub on it as well, which is rare.

Goldeneye was good, Tomorrow Never Dies was OK, but I really didn't like the other two that much. Way too much flash. Give me Connery Bonds any day. The current formula isn't quite working IMO. Bana seems in intersting choice, but hard for me to judge for sure unless I see him in action. Not sure if I see him in the role though. Brosnan filled the shoes very well, I did like him in the role a lot, the fault in the last couple was the material.

Interesting, but outside of the IWSP Strike I'm not really a big fan of these MSV kits. It is quite original though.

OK, all they did was remove Shaw's eyebrows, cool. Was worried for a while there. I am also quite happy they removed the "emperor's scream" from ESB. Now if only they would revert Vader back to saying "Bring my Shuttle."

The suit is MILES better than the last couple. Nice and dark, no chessy crap added to it. Not bad so far.

Everything is on viewscreens in the Q-rau, so that shouldn't have been a problem for Max, the display, controls, and screens were close enough for him to work with.

Wow... I heard the rumors, but I guess they're looking pretty true now. My desire to buy the Theatrical Versions grows even more powerful. This is getting ridiculous. I think I may XVID rip my VHS tapes before they degrade. How much more is left for him to change? Remove Vader's force choking people? I guess fan opinion means absolutely nothing to lucas. Like many, I know I'll still buy the discs to have a nice "official" version (and it's cheap), but I want a XVID/DIVX version of the original (if I can find it anymore .) I could deal with the SE's fine, but this is pushing it big time. Honestly though I can't say I'm surprized they're even updating the lightsaber effects, wether I like it or not depends on the end result. Adding Hayden's face to Anakin isn't surprising either, I wonder wether it'll look cheesy or not actually. Anyone find pics of Vader's death? We already saw the Hayden ghost a while back, but now we know that's changing too.

Yamato hasn't made a release date on time in what, two years? Practically everything gets delayed at least a couple of months from what was initially announced. Often for no reason, as they NEVER tweak the sculpts after the proto is released. I was amazed when they adjusted Max's 1/48 color. The GBP had no revision, the VF-0 is obviously not getting any of it's formerly promised revisions, so really there's no reason for the delays. But true to form, the only reason the VB-6 might make it for christmas is to take advantage of christmas season. Wouldn't surprise me though if it became Q1 2005 anyway. I'm not holding my breath on what's after the VB-6 anymore. I will be gleeful when stuff gets announced, but I'm done pleading I want a YF-19, VF-4, or new VF-17.

Nothing that says a movie can't take place during the timeframe of a series, even after the series has finished it's run. Been done a few times before. Doesn't have to take place after the series if the movie comes out after the show.
