So far my vote goes to Overdrive. The visor really does throw the whole thing off from any other choices. Though I would hope for once it's a decepticon first this time.

I will positively buy the green Alpha now, but I think that's going to be it for me.

I'd love an MG Astray Red Frame. That would make me double dip and replace the 1/144 I'm building. Give it a G-Gundam type frame, and oh that would be sweet.

Can't wait for mine to show up. Got the table in the garage all ready for painting. Already painted my Red Frame Astray and GP03S parts runners.

Guess they figured they saturated the market, so they'll let the demand build for a while before releasing more and swimming in the new cash surge. I STILL WANT MY CF DAMMIT. I wonder how much the fast pack kits are going to go for once the valk prices go through the roof.

AvP2 fopr the PC was so awesome. I hope they continue the plot for a 3rd one like the ending implied. Best Aliens game to date. Another one I liked was the old arcade game with the 4 playable characters. That was pretty fun.

Saw it tonight, and I enjoyed it a lot. It wasn't very smart at times, especially certain characters' decisions. No one really questioned the circumstances like they should have before they went and touched stuff. The drones grew a little too fast to be believable. Plot was predictable. The ride though was cool one the action kicked in. The pyramid's reconfiguring itself every 10 minutes was in interesting touch, made a nice maze-like hunting ground, like a big deathmatch arena. Very well done Aliens, especially the queen in there. The predators did ok, a little slower than usual, but these were 3 rookies on a right of passage really, so one badass in the bunch wasn't really a surprise. The aliens were great though this time. The vison modes on the Preds looked great in this movie. Way, way better than Alien 3 or Ressurection on any account, so I'm thankful for that at least. The little ending bonus before the credits was sweet, and I liked it when the pred gave the chick a alien head shield and tail spear. Overall: Not perfect, but an enjoyable time. "Aliens"'s claim to the throne is in no danger from this film though.

I'm not buying scores of Seed mechandise, and I greatly enjoyed the show. Nothing wrong with wanting an MG Providence. I happen to like the design. Doesn't matter if anyone agrees with me or not. there are other designs that people like that I find hideous or just am not a big fan of. This is the list of Seed merchandise I have bought, and all I am plannign to get:(Unless they make an MG Providence ) -Metal Material Aile Strike -HG 1/144 Astray Red Frame -HG 1/144 Providence -HG 1/144 Freedom (going in the trash once I get the MG built) -MG Freedom -Lacus Statue from Hobby Fan That's it. I bought the few pieces that I liked enough to warrant a purchase. It's clearly obvious that Seed mecha has sold in DROVES in Japan. They are not forcing anything down anyone's throat. This is what Bandai presented, and fans WILLINGLY scooped it up, because they liked what they saw. If they didn't like it, they wouldn't have bought it. The formula they used for Seed obviously worked and it proved highly successful. Therefore they will surely not screw with a formula that's working. If the designs become truly craptacular, and the fans turn against it, then the cash will slow greatly, and they'll adjust accordingly.

I bought Vol 2 in best buy in Tuesday, and got the free box to hold both volumes. Haven't watched it yet. This is all the Kill Bil money they're getting from me though, even if a later release has the full color crazy 88 fight, which you know is going to happen in the Special Editions that will come out soon. I loved Kill Bill, but I'm not double dipping on it.

Seems like the UC/Seed discussions are beginning to take a turn towards the Macross/Macross 7 discussions. I for one am looking forward to Seed Destiny, and still find it too early to declare it crap since all we have is slivers in info so far. I enjoyed Seed a great deal, as well as 0083 and 8th MS team (for the guy who said those sucked). Many found G godawful, while others just took it for what it was and enjoyed the ride (I found the show pretty enjoyable after the Guyana highlands). UC was the shiznit, but it's over now, and this is the new branch we've got, like it or not. They said before Seed came out they didn't want to have to force new fans to have to watch 20 years of UC Gundam shows to see what's going on, and thus get more new viewers hooked. Seed was intended to be the branch off point from the beginning, so expect more to come after this. After the past 4 independant series before Seed (and I find Turn A's designs outright fugly, but that's my opinion, just as others are entitled to have their opinion regarding that show or any other). Haven't heard anyone complaion about actually using the real Zaku in Turn A. The new "Zaku's" in Seed D look pretty good IMO. As for "this guys designs suck" some Seed Mecha are hit or miss yeah (all depends on personal opinion), but it's also the plot and characters I'm looking for, especially chracters, and I thought Seed kicked Wing's butt in every category, mecha included. As for the Kira/Fllay/Lacus/Athrun/Cagalli wedding outfits pic: From the looks of it there are some pretty good artbooks out there, people have been using for wallpapers images. There have been lots of wallpapers ciurculating around using really nice pics.

Looks like the MG Freedom is back in stock at Image Anime. In other news, no Black Trinity Zaku II for me. Got sniped by $0.50 at the last minute. I did win a Kahen Senshi ZZ Gundam for 56 bucks shipped so that made up for it.

Of the initial main 5, yes, the other 4 all transform in some way. Two flight, 1 ground-type, and 1 amphibious. The Impulse gets the Sillouette packs for it's specialized equipment, it gets option modes in a different vein like the Strike. (Insert Impulse is to Strike what Mk. II is to RX-78 comparison). I fully expect at least one more pack to show up outside of the 3 regular packs. Also saw in the trailer the Impulse has the Armor-Schneiders as well.

In related news, has anyone actually been reading the Astray manga? I have to say it is surprisingly good so far. Good characters, tight relation to Seed while maintaining it's own plot, and the Astray's are sweet. I didn't get a chance to read the first two fully yet but I skimmed through a little. A huge of time was spent in Vol. 2 at orb helping the orb scientist girl (I continue to forget the woman's name) and her crew work on the M1 Astrays. Lowe and the Red Frame even sparred with the M1's a little. The 3 Astray Girls get a LOT of face time here. Kind of explains their not getting much screen time in Seed tv, they got quite a bit in the manga. Makes you care a little more when they get rubbed out at the end. A nice addition was the Red Frame was present when Kira and Athrun had their big fight on the island. Lowe was watching from a distance and used the Gerbera to brace himself when the Aegis exploded. It was then Lowe that pulled Kira out and brought him to Markio's house. Good tie-in there. Very recommended so far.

I briefly owned a GP03 and I thought it was an awesome kit. Beyond the time and space required from me though so now it has a good home with Zeagle Diver. I think the problem with the HGUC Dendrobium was it's sheer size. 16lb box for crying out loud! A meter long mecha is too big for MANY people, even if they wanted the kit. PG Gundams are bad enough on the space, but the 1/144 dendrobium would have been prohibitive for many guys with limited space. A PG 1/60 GP03 Stamen itself by comparison would have been able to sell much easier. I would also love to have a Geara Doga Master Grade and a Gouf Flight type MG. Side note: Finish that Freedom yet, Zeo-Mare?

Excellent price for this thing. At the price point I will very likely buy two (and I RARELY buy duplicates). That's actually lower than I expected it to be as well. Unfortunately, November release date means we'll see it next Spring.

Hefty? this is the PVC completed kit the Resin "do-it-yourself" has a much higher pricetag That's what I meant. It's expensive (compared to other PVC's) but the extensive detail between Mahoro and the Bike, and the weight and die cast of the bike make up that price difference, so you definately get what you pay for. This set's up there with the SOP Kaneda's bike.
