I posted that on the previous page already, but yeah, episode 12 ROCKED. I hope Kira does indeed bail Cagalli out so they can get out of Dodge. Kira can step on Yuna while he's at it. As for the Impulse's recharge, it does have a "Hyper Capacitor" according to the power meter display, so it should be able to take in a lot of energy really fast.

I'm not even going to pre-order the Green one that I wanted at this point. I will watch and see how the QC is when it comes out. If they get their heads out of their asses, I'll buy it. If I have to play russian roulette and pray I get a good one, forget it. (Already won a small 3-mode Red Gakken anyway too).

The SV-51 is a far more complex beast than the VF-1 though. The variable custom model that we've seen screams fragility, changing the sculpt for the transformation would make an ass ugly fighter mode.

Hopefully he's ok. The whole thing is a such a big mess it's hard to think about the scale.

I still think the parts swap is bacause of the SV-51 that will eventually go with it. The SV-51 has to be parts swap no matter what, there's no way to make the hips durable enough in perfect transformation. If the VF-0 is perfect variable, and the SV-51 part swap, it's a bit of a mismatch.

Back to Destiny, I have found one thing that has pissed me off. What the hell is this arranged marriage bit? Since when is Cagalli supposed to marry this Yuna punk. A guy like this Athrun should have bitch slapped 5 minutes after meeting him, and he put his hands on Cagalli. "I'm Athrun Zala, bitch!" This reeks as unnecessary. I know this was set up years ago, but given Cagalli's character this is not something she would have allowed back when her father was still alive. Now that she is the chief representative (as in supposed to be THE BOSS), nobody has any business telling her who she marries. It would have been enough to have this father and son duo try to usurp her power and that would have been it. I hope Athrun personally steps on this pleab with the Savior. If she actually gets married as part of the story I will be supremely pissed. Rest of the show kicks ass, but this arranged marriage piece sucks. Hopefully she quits and bails ORB before it happens.

Yeah, but this is yamato. Their cheapness in markings is legendary. The same argument could be applied to why the 1/48's don't have their numbers and kite painted by the cockpit instead of the damn stickers, made worse so by the fact the wings have the markings. They're lazy.

MP Prime is still the ultimate Prime, GC Prime is at least a decent effort finally though.

I think the Shiki was made in 1/144 scale. Yep, 1/144. The Hyaku-shiki was part of the Kahen Senshi line. They had the Zeta., Hyaku-shiki, and ZZ. It was pretty poseable, and looked pretty cool. I have the Zeta and ZZ. Zeta was so-so, the ZZ was awesome. There were also Titans color scheme Zeta and ZZ releases.

Sweet. Kinda makes me want to consider getting the GQ Sword Impulse more seriously.

Wow. GC Prime even has the Matrix included. Looks pretty cool actually. Redemption after the hideous Energon prime.

Got ep 12 before 11, but watched most of it anyway. AWESOME EA used it's mobile armor, smaller than I thought (fit in one of the naval vessels). Took the Tannhouser shot though. Lots of Aile Pack Windams in the sky. Shinn took off in the air to fight them while Rey and Luna stood on the deck of the Minerva and fired from there. As Shinn fought the MA, his power got low, it grabbed onto him, his power ran out, and tore a leg off. As shinn was falling, he thought about his familiy, and made his SEED mode. Since the packs have their own engines, he could still fly with that, and the Minerva used the Energy Beam supply to recharge him. Think Gundam X style, to the forehead. They then sent a replacement leg flyer and the sword pack, and in one of the coolest scenes yet, Shinn goes on rampage jumping ship to ship cleaving them to pieces. Sword Impulse is definately my favorite Impulse config. EVERYONE, Minerva crew, the Earth guys, and the orb guys just stood and watched with their jaws dropped. Absolutely sweet. Athrun launched the Savior at the end, same style launch as when he launched from that hangar before. Next episode: Freedom.

Those eyes are above and beyond on Ryuji's part. I'd be happy with regular eyes on that sculpt.

It's who you are. Could be far worse things to spend your money on. Also clue her in into how much your collection is actually worth. That's a lot of $$$ to get rid of. (Though the $$ might be an incentive to sell). No matter what though, it's your collection, and a part of the deal attached to you. She's not giving up anything of that caliber, nor is being asked to. I's not right to tell you to lose all your gear. Using her job as an excuse to deal with the "big kid" in you is a poor excuse, and not fair to you.

I'm still surprized the HCM Pro Impulse transforms, with the tiny core splender even. Sweet.

If the VF-11 and YF-21 rereleases sold poorly, it was due to their half-assing them. The VF-11 was saved by it's reinforced hips, but the fast packs were too small (a necessity of the transformation scheme they used). The YF-21 had poor balance, the WRONG COLOR, an unsecure backpack, and huge undercarriage packs. Redesigning the legs to fit in the fuselage for a properly streamlined fighter mode was nice, but the fast packs took that advantage away. I keep it posed in fighter mode without them. Guld was fugly as well. However, I can't buy off on those two not selling well. Every retailer that has had them has sold out of them. Only HLJ it seems has been able to get some more (after selling out of their initial batches), and still have some in stock.
