Official Gundam Plamodel Thread
Anubis replied to Black Valkyrie's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
I still like my Ver. 1.5 RX-78-2 Gundam. It's stable, has the solid legs, and the detail is awesome. -
I thought I did it according to the manual. Maybe I'll check the LED colors eventually, but I like it with the Red in the Eyes.

Happy New Year!

Oh I want a PG Mk. II Titans. In a few months maybe. Though more likely I'll end up with a MG and just paint it anyway. I got my Zeta brand new as well. Painted the runners and put it together. Came with Red LED's amd the Red light-up beam saber. Guess they changed it with subsequent production runs of it? Mine sat on the store's shelf for a LONG LONG time (had to be over a year I think ) until they had their closing sale and I got it for half off. He wanted 270 for it originally which is why it stayed there for so long.

Zeta's got Red, what color LED do the Mk. II and Strike have? The Mk. II should be a Yellow right?

Where's her boobs go? -
I love the LED's on the PG kits. Wouldn't mind seeing some shots of the Mk. II Titans' lit up. The Zeta's Wing tip LED's are cool too, though I don't dare mess with it to transform it right now.

Same here, especially the duel between Anakin and Obiwan ! I kond of disagree. The very nature of this thread is chock full of spoilers. If you don't want spoilers don't click on a thread that says "Episode 3 PICS." Having Spoiler warnings posted every two posts will make this too difficult to read, and unnecessary since everyone know this thread is full of spoilers anyway.

Droid: So how do you plan to tell Anakin the kids are really Obi-Wan's? Yoda: The shroud of the darkside has fallen. Pissed he will be indeed.

MG Providence would be nice! The Gaplant has been really growing on me. One of those would be cool to see. -
The Official Yamato VB-6 Monster Thread
Anubis replied to Montarvillois's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
You know, I'm actually happy to see people bitching about a new toy, while others praise it. It's been too long (dammit Yamato), and now we finally have something to sink out teeth into again. I mean holy crap, it's a VB-6 for crying out loud. The last one we thought Yamato would make. MOST OF US should buy at least one for that fact alone (minor QC gripes aside), so Yamato will immediately could have an incentive to dive into the rest of the VFX-2 valks. If this obscure sucker sells good, it might open the door again. Even if not, this is still one that will skyrocket in value once they stop making it, and I guarantee we'll start seeing a lot of "Where can I get a Monster" threads when the stock finishes. At least I'm not seeing any initial reports of "it fell apart in my hand" on the VB-6 unlike another item from another company that we all looked forward too forever and it came out a more QC ridden POC than Yamato could even concieve of. At least the initial impression is good, and there are no crtical flaws. A stupid flaw in the reversed piece, but not killer. A VB-6, former legend of rarity in the resin field, long sought after, now in 1/100 toy form. May the rest of the 1/100 resin kits soon be adapted as well. Anyone going to pose this thing wrestling some MG Gundams? -
That way no one can actually save the pictures he posts online (at least easily). well considering the actual url of the image, it is very easy no kidding couple clicks and i copied the url to my download manager. the personal library grows muahahahaha I usually just hit "save page as" then select "web page, complete" to defeat such protections. Then I just yank the pic out of the new directory at my leisure. With firefox you can simple display the page info and save any media file in the page, I think that is possible with mozilla and other Non-IE browser too. Firefox rules.

pretty friggin cool... now if only that robot would eat some of the members here. I'd buy that for a dollar.
-
I do like Palpatine's compact lightsaber at least. That thing looks almost half- size the norm.
-
Palpatine looks like crap in that pic.
-
Here's a robot that powers itself by eating flies.

Montarvillois' Avatar is perfect for this thread.

planet would be a typo. OMNI is the name for the EA's actual miltary force.

Athrun and Shinn said it best. It didn't matter that the Minerva tried to stop the tragedy, and prevented one big impact, but the fact remains that the fragments still fell, and the damage was enough for an outcry against PLANT. Where the EA/BC showed that they were really asses though was when they decided to use it as an opportunity to murder EVERYONE at PLANT. Those nukes would have destroyed plant completely, annahilating every person there. The coordinators have plenty to be pissed about right now. Good points. It was definitely a bad move on the EA/BC's part, as it pretty much showed the PLANTs from the get-go that no punches would be pulled. Hence, PLANT now has reason to attack the EA.. Or as the chairman put it, 'engage in agressive self-defense'. The goal right now is to push the forces that are surrounding the Gibriltar and Carpentaria bases away. That's what the drops were for. At present they're not planning to chase them any more than that. Of course we all know it won't be that easy. I expect at least one base to be nuked or lost.
-
What, dropping a PLANT on the world is not justifiable? Massive death toll and damage across the world ain't good enough? Graham.. if you're comfortable using BitTorrent, AONE has fansubs up to episode 12 now. http://a.scarywater.net/aone/ As note, regarding what I quoted. It was a small portion of a plant. The part of Junius Seven that fell appeared to merely be the 'cap' of one end, with part of the interior tower superstructure attached. And half of that didn't even hit the atmosphere, but was broken off with the 'Meteor Buster' explosive devices. The director/writer/SOMEONE in charge of story development for SEED Destiny mentioned wanting to incorporate current events into the story, so you're on the right track in regard to the 'The 9/11 attack fueled hatered for an entire race' train of thought in relation to the events of Junius Seven's fall. The people of Earth don't see "Oh, some renegade group of Coordinators dropped that big hunk of destroyed space colony (that we nuked into such a state) on us!", they see "'dem coords dropped something on us!" Part of me wonders, and the series doesn't really indicate one way or the other... did the Earth Federation government(s) surpress the information on ZAFT's efforts to minimize the damage, including Minerva's risky attack on it with the main cannon? Athrun and Shinn said it best. It didn't matter that the Minerva tried to stop the tragedy, and prevented one big impact, but the fact remains that the fragments still fell, and the damage was enough for an outcry against PLANT. New Gundam FIX and ZEONOGRAPHY on the way...
Anubis replied to GRAND CANNON's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
Looks like the Kahen-Senshi 1/144 to me. Kadoh Senshi. Kahen = transformable, which only has the Zeta in its line as of now. Also had the ZZ. The Zeta is better for Wave Rider IMO. MS mode was kind of weak for posability. The ZZ was a much better offering all around. Looks real good, has decent posability, and transforms very easily. My bad, totally forgot about the ZZ since I never bought it. How does it compare to the HCM? I've never touched an HCM ZZ Gundam, so I can't compare it. I thought about posing the Wave Rider with the Mega Launcher underneath, it's in my closet in my parts box, maybe I'll give it a try again. In MS mode the Mega Launcher is a pain in the butt just to hold it though, which is why it went in the closet. The KS Zeta just isn't very posable unfortunately in MS mode. Nice detail though in both modes. I like it in Wave Rider mode at my PG's feet. -
