New Gundam FIX and ZEONOGRAPHY on the way...
Anubis replied to GRAND CANNON's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
I know how that feels, mine are full too. Adding the PG RX-78-2 put a HUGE dent in the remaining space. I've had to take the 0083 stuff out to fit my new Qubeley and The-O. I think I have space for the GM and Ball, and I think I'll have space for the eventual Methuss. I'd like to at least keep the Neue Ziel, but I don't think it'll fit. Might be able to until the Methuss comes out at least. The Amuro/Char shelf has space for a Dijeh and a Zeta Plus still. -

I had to put the MK. II set off for now too. It looks super sweet, but my AEUG and Titans Mk. II's still look really good back to back like I have them now. Spending the 45 bucks for the set doesn't fit in right now, especially when there's some more stuff on the list. At first I was like "Oh, crap, must have this" but then that kind of waned as I looked at the display case and the wallet. It's harder to justify for now, but maybe later on. First I'd like a Zeta Plus A1 too. I'm kind of torn: MG or GFF? I know the GFF is fragile, but it's nicely detailed, I don't have to assemble it, and it'll fit better than the MG on the Amuro/Char shelf. The MG is a nice kit though. I hope the Methuss and Dijeh aren't too far off next year, even if it's only MSiA. -

You forgot the Galbaldy. 352953[/snapback] Yep, so 7 mobile suits in one series. The mechanics probably had dart boards with his picture. -
Msn Movies Rates 10 Best Movie Battles

It's a stupid list. It says best movie battles, yet only lists the movie. Not the actual battle scene that earned it the nomination. -

I liked how they changed showing Emma what happened at the gassed colony by video recording instead of taking her there, and using the footage from the show on the laptop Emma was watching. Good and inventive way to shorten the time needed to show Emma that. Reccoa just said it was them who recorded it previously. Overall I think they did a good job condensing 14 episodes into 90 minutes. It flowed well enough. You just have to accept that Camille was a natural at piloting and his skill progressed quickly in the Mk. II. Which if you saw the show is pretty much what happened anyway, just with more detail. A ittle rushed in some places, but they seemed to try to fill some of the gaps with dialog to help smooth it a little. The new footage was awesome. The old footage even held up not badly though either. Much of the atmosphere drop was intact. I love that scene. I look forward to the next two movies, and hopefully they'll flow as well as this one. I'm skeptical about changing the ending still, but we'll see how that goes. -

Awesome box art. Would make a nice wallscroll. -
I'd consider a SOC version much more readily. The MPC version looks decent enough but that remains to be seen until it's actually in people's hands and can be reviewed. Actual paint quality and durability are up in the air. The Alphas looked this nice when they were first introduced, and that became a mixed bag.

Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam A New Translation
Anubis replied to F360°'s topic in Anime or Science Fiction
A lot of that space was used for thrusters. All that thick armor was likely purposefully deceptive to it's actual mobility. Scirroco went awesomely though in the end. Wonder just how different the finale will end up being in the movies. As for Amuro, if they skip the 2nd drop to earth entirely I doubt Amuro will touch anything except a Rick-Dias. New animation for the Dijeh would have been cool, but I doubt there's room for it. Maybe they'll broadcast Char's speech from the moon or something. The Rosamia story and the Psycho Mk. II are also very easy cuts to make for movie 3. I wonder how much of Jerid's mobile suit swapping will be left intact. I think he had the record for most Mobile Suits in one series. He used a lot of models from the Titan's inventory. The Byalant will probably be cut out, and the Bound Doc might still appear as his final suit, but that would be it's only appearance. He went through what: the Mk. II initially before Camille stole it from him, the Hi-Zack, Marasai, Gabthley, Byalant, Bound Doc. 6 all together that I can remember. -
These are 2 great examples of how big this thing is. 60cm. Not for the space-challenged. Looks nice, but way big.

Sweet, thanks. -
There's also the Kaiyodo Sachiel figure. That one wasn't bad at all really. More of a posable statue, but looks good. It's the only Angel figure that I know of. It's true though, out of all of them before Kaoru, Sachiel is the easiest on to make a real figure out of. The other ones fixed pose gashapon would be the best method IMO. Sachiel looks the best though. I'm not interested in the other 3 angel-girl figures, but the winged "Lilith-Rei" would be pretty cool.

They can fold easily if they come off the backing prematurely and then you have to striaghten them without tearing it. If you're careful about sliding them off the backing and positioning them you should be ok. Just have to take your time. If you let it float too long in water the decal can come off and then it's hard to save it if it gets away.

Decals! All done finally. The waterslides weren't bad. It takes a while to apply them but it wasn't too bad. Getting air bubbles and stuff out of the big decals is kind of hard. I ruined one of the shield decals. I still don't think the 2nd on came ot perfect (it should be 100% clear but it isn't) however it looks geat looking at the whole model. The waterslides adhere very nicely. I kind of like these things. they're time consuming and easy to ruin but not nearly as easy to ruin as dry transfers. These are what really shold be coming with the Perfect Grade kits. Here are some pics of the now finished Gundam: You can't see it in the pic but I put a Fed cross emblem next the WB102 on the shoulder. They're the same height. I also added a couple of decals to the PG Zaku. The Zeon emblem on the chest is a dry transfer I used initially, the rest are MG Zaku waterslides. One final shot of all 3 Perfect Grades on the shelf:

You are forever banished. OYW = One Year War - The 0079-0080 war between the Federation and Zeon The Acguy got such an impressive kit because it is one of the newest Master Grade model kits. They've been getting better as they go along. The 8th MS Team mobile suits didn't get core fighters because they didn't need them. Core Fighters are expensive, so only the Operation V suits got the initial core fighters. The core block that was optional on the Gundam, Guncannon, and Guntank. Those 3 could use either the Core fighter, or a standalone cockit core block. The GM's just used the block. The gound suits in 8th MS Team didn't even use the core block system. They just had a regular cockpit in the chest, be it a RGM-79G or the RX-79G. -
$190 is really high for those. HLJ has them for a little over a 100. Still an expensive figure, but not 190.

It IS the first version on Amazon. Don't be fooled. For 10 bucks though it's not bad. -

If you don't like the styling of the older GM kit, you could go for the RGM-79C GM Kai space version. The GM Kai uses the more updated look. The original GM however has more the "old school" look to it though. Pic from Dalong. -

I went ahead and ordered a GM from the Amazon sale a few days ago. On Friday I then decided to take advantage of BBTS's sale and ordered a Master Grade Ball ver. Ka and a MSiA The-O. I'll decided I wouldn't mind having the 0079 EF grunt pair. The 3 PG's have put a serious dent in my case. I have to rearrange the shelves some more and hopefully I'll have space to leave for the eventual Methuss and Dijeh. -
I'm actually going to be experimenting with that today. I didn't have a chance to do it during the week. I think I know how I'm going to place them already I just need to sit and do it. I'm going to add a couple to the Char's Zaku PG as well.

He was one of the best.

The Mobius seemed like it should have been a decent MA. Maybe if it could have autoslided like a starfury. The way it was presented though it didn't perform much better than a Ball in UC. The Mobius could carry more weapons than a Ball, but several could be pwned easily by only one or two Ginns. The GP03 Dendrobium was classified as a Prototype Foothold Defensive Mobile Armor. Slaughtering multiple mobile suits was definately it's speciality, as shown in Evolve 4. After the suits it could easily dispatch the mother ship. The Neue Ziel was a pure powerful fleet killer. It was sweet.
-
The Neue Ziel was pure canned badass. Seed Mobile armors wish they could do stuff like that. Even the Destroy only wishes it could do stuff like that, and by all rights should have been able too, if not for the crappy writing underutilizing all that destructive potential. In space especially the Destroy should have been a demon.

I'd like a Haman statue. The Four one looks good.
